Haha it wasn't that, just been my luck this weekend, for instance had to evacuate from the movie theatre with 30min left in the movie I was watching because the fire alarm went off and the movie cut out and everyone was told to use the nearest exit. I didn't get to see the end of the movie either :@, although should get some sort of refund tomorrow hopefully. Also managed to lose in both sokker and battrick to Achmid today, so that's been the luck of my weekend.

In saying that Argentina outplayed us with a really good tactic and combined with their players they were able to win the game on the back of that.

Wow...Andy scored a freekick goal in a 2nd game in a row for my team! + 2 assists, could've been even about 7, unfortunately my 4 strikers were 20yo, 20yo, 20yo, 19yo so their striker skills aren't too good...

Just to note I will be away as of tomorrow for a few days, will not be able to answer skmails for the competition regularly, so Achmid will try to take control of this round, so probably best to send skmails with answers to him.

Will also be away for the match with Mexico but I've known that for a few weeks now so had already prepared in advance and will be on at a later date before the match to make sure it's set and to make any final adjustments, so the match won't be of any less quality then usual.

Training updates can still be sent to myself though, as I can update those when I return quickly enough, you just will receive a late reply from myself.

Other than that, I suspect I know what Mexico will try to do, and am working on the approach needed to knock them off and get the 3 pts without Pierce or Broxton.

Everything's set. Hopefully this works out. Expecting Mexico to try to surprise us, in an attempt to catch us offguard, so we'll see what happens. Well.. I won't until I get back on either Tuesday or Wednesday evening. Hope things go well and to plan.

I thought the tactic was very good. Despite the 12-6 shot count in their favour there were a number of balls that we crossed in only to get a defender's head rather than Byers' on the ball and thought we were a tad unlucky not to get the win.

Its been a great campaign, but things simply haven't fallen our way.

Im yet to watch the match, but the result was good (whether it is enough is another story but a draw against mexico is always good)

Yeh good point. As it stands, we need Argentina to beat colombia, and us to beat colombia.

We also need to get this goal difference in our favour. That means a big win against repulica dominica is necerssary.

Just saw the match as I'm now back. Slightly disappointed not to walk away with the win, we created several chances and the defensive scramble which led to their goal could have gone either way really. The campaign isn't over yet, we have a few options left and can still sneak 2nd spot if Mexico lose to Argentina and don't beat Bulgaria (that's the smallest hope).

Other than that, we need to win our next game by as big as possible and then start looking at what we have to do against Colombia to not only get 3rd spot but qualify also. The 2 points we dropped against Bulgaria are hurting badly now, but sokker keeps having fun in teasing our national side, by not closing the door.
