Have to say, Byers was absolutely rubbish. His goal in the 83rd minute was an absolute orgasmic set up, he missed it last week for me in league [grr]

Either he is trying to reclaim his crown as the Butcher or that keeper is massively good, i'm thinking the former.

Well done Dave. I thought the tactics were excellent today. Outstanding even.

Usually follow up a lousy tactical game with a much improved performance. Wasn't happy with the defensive holes we had last week against Island, so went back to the drawing board to make sure I got things right this week.

Pretty satisfied with the tactic today, most players contributed something.

With Island knocking off South Africa about 1 hr and a bit ago, we're not safely qualified yet, so it means we're going to have to get at worst a 1 goal loss to South Africa next week. A draw or better will see us top the group, and will likely be against Hong Kong or Shqiperia.

A win is certainly achievable, and given how we played today we're heading in the right direction.

Andy should pop in 1-2 weeks in pace :)
Australia looks like one of favourits to wing the MiniWC!

a lot depends on whether we finish 1st or 2nd in the group. We finish 2nd we've got a much tougher route to the final then if we finish 1st. Although I do like the sound of playing either Hong Kong or Shqiperia in the round of 16.

At least as far as future rounds go, it goes into ET if the game is level, so sides are going to have to beat us for us to lose ranking points :).

I also like this sound, as it will mean that Andy might get about 9 more assits in this tournament :))
