my prediction on our run to the cup win after this coming week is bosna-peru-osterrech. Out of those, i would probably be disappointed to lose to the first two
Yeah, Osterreich looks like the only real threat to me...still we will see we lack finishing.
Btw, if someone is interested...just watch my game, Andy was incredible...3 assists, 1 goal, lots of dribbles and good passes, once he even got into penalty area and shot a 1 on 1 but it was saved...:)

Byers is really starting to irk me with his inefficiency, apologies on his behalf cometer.
we can't play both peru and osterreich. They're both on the other side of the draw... (I'll check again to confirm but I was certain I double checked the first time) If things play out with favourites winning it's Bosnia then Israel I believe then the final.
my gk has an injury, so Maras played as gk :P I train pace anyway ;p

We take on Shqiperia tomorrow in the round of 16. We should progress to the next round without too many problems. Last time we played Shqiperia I think we ended up winning 6 - 0 or something high. Should be similar this week.
Any last suggestions are welcome.
Will post up some more interesting stuff tomorrow in regards to the match if I'm up in time.
So far in terms of ranking points we've gone up around 50 ranking points. That's a good start, we still need about 150-200 more if we wish to scrape into a 2nd seed position and we will try to achieve that although at worst a 3rd seed isn't too bad. Qualifying as a 4th seed again will make things extremely tough but I think we're a fair way ahead in terms of ranking points to fall that far back.

Last time we played them I think it was an U21 match, looking at the list of players there. Quite a few of these have reached the top level of our NT and I'm sure a lot of those would have reached the top of Shqiperia's (Albania's) top level as well. I don't see us being seriously challenged, but that's not to say I have taken them lightly.
We beat them 6 - 0 last time, I don't know if it will be the same again, although I'd like it to. Still think we'll win rather comfortably 3 - 0 or 4 - 0 though.
They've genuinely defended with 5 players quite close to each other so this could test our strikers out. They've also genuinely focussed centrally with 2 strikers extremely defensive. As a result I think they're going to find generating a shot against us is going to be rather difficult but stranger things have happened.
Extra time is in play if needed, although I'd be disappointed if it had to go that far.
Oliveira will be out for this match, still think he's slightly injured so as a consequence won't be played. We have enough depth to cover him.
Cracking their defense is going to probably be the only difficulty today, once we're through though it should be smooth sailing.
Looking forward to the match, should be a smooth ride through to the quarter finals.

I imagine they'll go with their 2slo formation. That will leave any willis' ... err wingers we play with plenty of room.
Biggest holes to me look to be
|---|--A|-B-|C--|---|
(each letter or '-' being one of the three positions you place a player in each of the 5 "squares" across the tactic.)
Be nice to see the forwards rotating to fill 2 of those 3 positions.
To be honest I'd think we could get away with 3 at the back and a defensive mid. Man up their more attacking mids and we still have plenty of players to sit in front or at the sides of their mass of defenders. If the forwards move around a bit depending on where the ball is it will only be a matter of time until we get a good angle.
Given that our mids/wings should have plenty of time to get the ball in I'd think high striking/tech strikers would be the best bet.
Edit: Of course its a bit late to be saying all of that given that the game starts in about 10 mins :P
