Asunto: National Team

It's the way you write and you write on every single thing there is to comment on.

You've done a good job borkos, but the way you write and behave (not only you, but since this reply is to you) just makes me lose interesset in the national team.

Yeah I must agree. Madaschi is Sriram's player, but he deserves to be there. He's better than guy's like Campbell who have already played alot of games for the NT.

Believe me - I know his skills and he is much worse than Baveas, Murphy, Galal, Whitley, same as Naumovski.

And Collina has no pace, he isn't even in reserves for now :/

@Sriram
Wilksinson has pace and PM/Striking.
Parkinson has pace and PM/striking.
Bate has striking and pace.

But none of them is high, as you said previously.

I'm just curious to know why do he use his Madaschi when there are many better DMs than he.
2006-04-08 14:05:42
I know his skills too...

And let me guess, he's not good because his playmaking is lower than his passing???
2006-04-08 14:20:43
No, I don't say that he is bad. I say, that we have many Australians better than him.

You just don't get what I'm saying...playmaking is as important as passing, but there's no idea with using player that has only passing without playmaking..but player which has high playmaking, without passing can make something...players without playmaking usually loose the ball, or pass back to defenders, even make own goals.

Eh, it's a friendly, if the coach wants to experiment a little, now is certainly the time. I would rather him have a clear idea of squad depth and utility now than have to work it out later in competitive matches.

Meanwhile, Sriram, I'll never forgive you for dropping Ando! He is the shining light of my club, he is why my team exists! How dare you take that away from me! ;)

Ok, that's why I also think that playing reserve match is very useful - I've also said about playing reserve after your question in my topic as you remember. The point is, we have better reserve DMs then Madaschi, which played propably only cause he's Srirams player :/
2006-04-08 15:56:39
Hello? Better DMs than Madaschi? Name some.

Galal has hopeless passing, there's no way he's going to play as a mid in my regime.

Murphy and Baveas are first team players, what's the point in playing them in a friendly?

Whitley, Naumovski.

Galal has better pace than Madaschi, also Luka O`Donoghue, Stuart Widera, Petkovic presents almost same level and Petkovic is younger.

to be honest if sriram was playing madaschi just for his own gain he would have done that a long time ago. Madaschi is obviously there for a reason and trialling some players out can't hurt. At the moment all i can say is the way things have been handled will certainly have an impact on how votes go in elections.

Madaschi is obviously there for a reason and trialling some players out can't hurt.

But we have better reserve players than him, so why have Madaschi played? :/

I don't say, that we shoul play with first squad, but hey - we have better reserves :/

*yawn*

Old broken record.

Madaschi's the best all-round player of everyone in the lot you just mentioned.

O'Donoghue lacks technique and PM, Petkovic lacks PM.

Galal has hopeless passing, he's never going to play in my regime as a midfielder.

Madaschi is a better midfielder AND defender than any of this bunch, and that's what a DM needs.

I'm pretty sure this debate is over.

LOL! I had to try Lawton out sometime or the other. I think Ando there would've saved the match for us. :p

And Whitley?

Widera?

Naumovski?

O'Donoghue has better pace and stamina
