Update schedule for rest of season

Week 12 - Nippon (awaiting confirmation and format, probably U21)
Week 13 - Costa Rica (format and confirmation required)
Week 14 - Slovensko (1st XI)
Week 15 - Malaysia (competition match if I get a competition going)
Week 0 - New Zealand (1st XI grudge match)
Week 1 - Egypt (our U22's against their 1st XI)

Only 2 games not completely finalized is week 12 & 13, but other than that it appears we've got a game every week for the rest of the season. Just finalized week 14 with Slovensko, a team I've had a tough time in doing well against, although we have pulled out a few. I think the last time we played Slovensko in a 1st XI match was at the WC when I had all of 5min after 9hrs+ of downtime to set the tactic and in the end could only set the players.

Going to be a tough ask, but hard competition is always more rewarding when you produce a solid performance.

Here's a quick question to Australian users. Decided to start up the hall of fame thing this season and see how it goes because if we wait too much longer some of the big names will no longer be around making it more difficult to remember past players. I've come up with a list of things to put on a profile to judge off against. These are:

Goals: (including highest # in a game)

WCQ/WC campaigns

Is there anything else that anyone can think of that should be in there? Clean sheets and debut match perhaps.

World Cup Caps? (As opposed to NT friendlies, competition games etc)

I could split caps into that because a WCQ or a WC match is higher standard than a charity type cap or 2nd XI,U21 match. Sounds good.

So that would make caps into total, wc and wcq for comparison.

Yeah that shouldn't be too hard to do nor require any extra time because I'm going to have to go through a lot of the matches individually anyway because the stats page of players only goes back a certain number of games anyway.

Got a list of 15 candidates for the time being based on the following eligibility conditions where only a small handful will be inducted.

- Minimum of 25 caps (No longer in 1st XI)
- Minimum of 75 caps (Current member of 1st XI)
- Foundation Player (Played in one of the first batch of games for the NT and warrants nomination but doesn't quite pass the 25 cap mark)

Might confirm that we've got a match against Nippon tomorrow, with our U21 side against their U23 side. I don't know what to expect for a few reasons:

1) A fair chunk of the U21 team hasn't played before
2) The new M.E will be used and I haven't got enough experience with it yet to understand all the do's and don'ts.

Over the next 5-6 hours hopefully, I'll be cleaning up the NT squad cutting it back (will keep a list of those dropped) and then promoting the U21's, so you'll know who'll be playing by some stage early tomorrow morning.

Hope everything goes to plan because we could use some more ranking points to keep ourselves wedged in the top 26 :).

Been dealt a pretty massive blow ahead of tomorrow's game, although it's been like that for a little while now. 2 of our better midfielders (which we already lack) are out injured, so are unavailable (Villafane and Puca). That's going to force a bit of a reshuffle to the midfield lineup.

I think this will be one of the most interesting line-up of U21s we have had in a while.

I think many of the big name teams now have Australians that are in their late teens or over 21 so there could be a lot of variety when it comes down the teams being represented.

well from the squad I've come up with, more than 50% actually play in Australia so it could be quite interesting indeed.

For the record the squad cut has been determined. I will list the complete squad and those that were unfortunately cut. I ended up with a 43 man squad although only 40 can be in the squad at the one time, so a few in the squad will have their NT status removed until they either recover from injury or improve form etc.

Due to the extreme cut offs some players end up getting axed that would make a top 40 squad if U21's were excluded, thus it is important to note the cut doesn't prevent a player coming in when needed and as such I still consider them important to receive updates from. Apologies for those who had players cut.
