yeah can't do anything with it yet though. Going to be interesting to see how it functions, will certainly change a few of the current methods of NT management.

I wonder who will consider running for the position. Only a couple of weeks to decide. Might it be a position decided by the head NT coach or voted by the "masses"? Who will be cometer's Julia Gillard?

Having been only a D3 manager for the 6-7 past seasons, I don't think I have the skill tactic wise to do the job.

Therefore I can only offer my service to be the assistant of anyone wanting to take the role if the elected manager need some help running the U21.

Sounds like a very interesting job, but alot of hard work on tracking down the youths and making sure they get the proper training.

If a person wants to control it, but do not have the time I hope they can get a team going. :)

Well the news is now officially posted. With that everyone should get an indication of how it should work.
My view is that an U21 nt manager must be able to communicate with the open nt manager and not treat it as an isolated case because really the only isolated case is the actual match itself (even that doesn't have to be), everything else is combined across both forms. The other thing I believe is that in many ways you need a decent tactician given U21's have limited skills and we're likely going to be outgunned by most U21 sides so tactics will be the only way we have a chance of being competitive.

Should also assist for bringing up exposure for the NT as suddenly there's an extra position available.

Liking the concept, guess this means a lot more caps for players and cap records may be smashed in a few seasons.

Depends how they work it.

They may separate U21 caps from NT caps, in which case some of the current NT Cap records will be around forever.
