Asunto: National Team
Tribe original team members and youth pulls? I love that format! :P

That's one possibility I suppose :p. Would certainly make it interesting from your perspective :p.
How about a "plays in Australia" team? (rules out about half our A-Teamers)
Or an "under 20 caps" team? (shows who the up and coming players are or players who are almost A-Teamers, but not quite)

<20 caps might be an interesting idea. I'll have to take a look later at what players we'd have eligible.
Gives some players who haven't played too many games a chance whilst resting front line players.

I like the idea of U20 caps, or even U10 caps would be good
Gone with players with <20 caps. Jamaica usually use the compressed back 5 and focus very centrally. Basically says to me, use any tactic with a winger and you'll score plenty.
Interesting to see a lot of the <20 caps have recently played for our NT, either in the 2nd XI or the U26 match. <10 caps probably would have stretched it further given how most U21's now play 10-15 games a season.
So maybe <10 caps might have had a lot of younger faces on it, but we've gone with <20 caps anyway. Haereiti missed out by 1 game and I think so did Kilkelly.
Still an interesting line up though.

31 shots to 0 and we win 11-1. The goal we conceded was pretty soft and was largely a match engine issue where the defender would have won the race to the ball but said nah I'll leave it for the keeper and move to my offensive position whilst the striker kept running. Should never have gotten into the box yet alone score with a tap in without a shot.
Still we won 11-1, never looked threatened and we bombed a fair few chances. Probably could have been more aggressive with the defense and hammered the midfield with players to quickly receive the ball but winning by 10 or 20 goals wasn't much difference in the ranking point gain. We probably won't gain too many (if at all) but it's another week down the drain to securing a 2nd seed for next seasons qualification campaign.

Congratulions to win. You played well, it was match about one team. You scored 11 beautiful goals, and could even more. Jamaica was asking for it. Those only goal against you, it was Foley's mistake, but also "thanks" to this stupid ME. There is some kind of command, that only one player from team can go after the ball. When goalie starts to run after the ball, defender stops and go to his default position {set in game tactic). It's very stupid in those kind of situations as today. I saw it multiple times in my own team and it makes me crazy. Such a stupid thing.
But I'm glad to see Foley in NT back again. I was suprised to see him play today, because he has "only" brilliant form. And what takes match against Slovakia last week, it was pure luck (for us). Imo Australia deserves to win more. It was all about luck and Kobra's head. Unstoppable. I had a conflict with Mapec, slovak NT coach, because he wanted to see Foley's skills and I refused to show him. It is true that Slovakia has some really good U23 attackers, but he had some stupid words about socceroos defence.
PS: in future when you want to write him something, use very simple english, his english sucks and even other of his pals can't translate it correctly :)

Oh, and I wanted to write that opponents like Jamaica, you could use more offensive tactic. I mean 3 defenders are usually enogh. You could use 1 extra player into middle or attack. And I wrote it once, but I really like your jerseys... Right colors ;) (check my team)
Today's match was a <20 caps match, so most of our top defenders would have played more than that. That allowed Foley to move up the ranks and grab a starting position for the 2nd week running. Like I said, he's getting a lot closer to putting pressure on a few of the 1st XI defenders for the spot and could easily slot into a role if we got a few injuries/suspensions. I think most 2nd XI games he'd get a run so he's not too far away :).
Yeah I could easily use a more aggressive tactic and would have if I'd actually spent the usual time in preparing tactics. Had a few issues which only gave me about 1 hour to whip something up so went in with something I knew would work even if it gave us 10 less shots. Had that been a more difficult opponent or a world cup qualification match or something where goal difference is critical I'd have used something a lot more offensive and looked at sacrificing time elsewhere.
About the defense comments, I wonder what those comments were because the defense we had put up a reasonable job I thought. Was the winger that beat us in the end along with a lot of missed opportunities for us to score.
I do try to keep my messages as simple as possible but sometimes I will forget as English is my natural language and that probably happened with that message.
Thanks again for the comments and suggestions :).

Well, for me and many other slovaks it's not a problem, but there are sentences which doesn't make sense, if slovak translete it "exactly". I play(ed) lots of PC games, watch many movies in original dubbing so I'm fine with those phrases. My problem are "times". There are too many of them. Mean those past simple, past continuing or... I don't remember, I always use what my ear like :)
We're using a div 2 and under match this week, with no regular 1st XI players playing, so no Ando/Beauchamp.
The match is against Crna Gora.
Should be a relative smooth win and gives a few more people a chance for a NT match whilst minimising the chance of suspension for the 1st XI players when we take on NZ next week.

We're set to take on Crna Gora. Should be able to win this easily. A few players from the U21's probably would have made it for this game but I've left them out and thrown in a couple of other players to cover it.
Where possible I've selected from human managed sides, although TG does have a few members representing the game because of U21's being in the U21 side or the gap is too significant.
Anyway hopefully it's an interesting game to watch with lots of goals ;).

Ellem obviously needs some penalty-taking practice ;P
Nice quality of game with some interesting players. Australia's depth continues to improve.
