You mean cosmopolitan?
;)

lots of posts there. Quite a strong possibility there. Will wait and see the outcome but I'm sure it's workable.

As for tomorrow's match against Scotland, it's a 2nd XI game as both sides want to rest 1st XI's in preparation for the WCQ's the following week. We've got some decent players who can fill the shoes quite comfortably, it's just a case of whether our depth is stronger then theirs. Hopefully we're able to knock them over and finish the season (or start the season depending on whether you take the NT season or normal season) on a positive note.

i say we call it the borkos medal, since he's such a legend and a wrestny ;)

if we were to name it after any player, my opinion would be to split it jointly between Ando and Broxton who are still the only 2 members to have played >100 NT matches for Australia. Ironically we could just call it the AB medal which just happens to have other significance :p.

I 2nd that. The Borkos Medal, ftw. :P

I'd be honoured ;)

Can even give you the licence for my image for free! ;)

I like the Ando-Broxton or AB for short.

Borkus' ego doesn't need an accolade like that :P

I like it too.

We're set for Scotland tonight. A few familiar faces, a few unfamiliar faces. I suppose it's not a direct 2nd XI squad but probably a 2nd/3rd as some of the true 2nd's I'm resting for next week in case the worst happens next week before the qualifier.

I think we should be able to beat them despite their higher ranking. Going to be tough though and a lot depends on what their 2nd string side is like.

Your last chance to prove yourself - Good luck:)

Meh, didn't help 1 goal came from a bug, one from an absolute long range cracker and the one from a 70m through pass, whilst at the other end we got pretty much squat. Pretty frustrating as this happens repetitively. Anyway we got beaten 4-1 which wasn't a true reflection of the game (rarely is these days :p).

Difference was clearly the finishing skills. We failed to score from our chances, they managed to capitalise on theirs. End result 4-1. Interestingly we beat them for passing, yet couldn't put a single ball through the massive gaps in their defense. That's probably the most concerning aspect. We were outmatched in ratings though so I suppose we can take something that we were competitive and had we taken our chances better we may well have come out on top.

Simon Papaluca just changed owners. Hopefully now he'll get some pace training.

A nice little earner for me as well. :D

Ok cheers for that. Enjoy you extra cash :p. I'm sure you'll be secretly hoping he gets sold to a passing trainer next season so you can get some more riches ;).

Wow...I haven't expected cometer being outed..

I did, although I had hoped to get one last crack but it wasn't to be. Was really the perfect opportunity for TM to win it, he'd done the cup and league double, the only season he managed the Australian U21 side he'd put us into the 1st seed position from which we qualified. Can't argue with those achievements and he deserved the opportunity.

anyway mate...great job you've done, congratulations...

Yeah thanks. Has been a long ride, 126 consecutive matches (yes I kept count :p) with the NT, not sure about my winning record but I'll probably get around to working that out for myself at some point.

Thanks to everyone else over the years (it's been about that) for giving me the opportunity to manage the side. Has been an enjoyable time.

@Tigermaster:

Good luck with the NT :). We're in as good a position as we could have been so it's now down to making sure we get through.
