Yeah, I'm not too sure many people knew of Belarus' strength despite their low user base and their lack of results. I for one was wary of them coming into this campaign as we've been blown off the park by a lot of the same players before 5-0. Those games will be critical to qualifying. Had Deroo been a better finisher though, you'd have wiped them pretty easily :).

Yeah, should've ended with about 6 in the trolley, though Belarus deserved one as well. Though i don't remember them having 4 shots ;-)

Still I was surprised with those defs tackling superdivine technique Deroo all the time...oh well - sokker ;-)

Well we won 11-0 in the end. Terrible conversion rate given we achieved brilliant striker rating for the team. Maras should find a hole to hide in.

Good result for TM after the shocker last week :).

Hard to believe we didn't bury a lot more goals. Nothing wrong with the tactic, quality of shots generated etc, just a bit frustrating to see such quality strikers unable to find the net as often as they should have.

Hmm what can I say - Didnt expect to see an offside trap, but probably should have looked at what their manager has done in their club games. Shocking 1/4 conversion rate... Maras belting the cover off the ball all the time, just doesnt work! In the 57/58th minute, I think we had roughly 4-5 shots in succession and none went in.. All at the keeper or hit a post.. Wish I could "train" him to slot the ball past the keeper rather than just blast it at him!

I felt that our midfield was a bit too crowded, something that I'll be looking to work on next week. At least we have a win on the board now so our Campaign has started. And lets keep on our winning ways =)

at least 50 decent goal-scoring chances there butchered by those blokes :(

we should even count ourselves lucky to reach double figures with that sort of conversion rate!

Well we play Sweden this weekend in an U25 format game. If everyone could update their U25 players into the DB that would be great =)

Have to look at the squad and see which players are in the best form. And will be making a tactic to fit the players. I also dont intend to use any first teamers (Players who have played in this WCQ especially)

Was a bit surprised not to see Kohler or Nesic take the pitch. Guess it's my fault for not updating NTDB with their latest def pops.

Was a pretty good effort against Sverige last night. Think in the end their winger contributed to 3 of their goals, either from drawing a fk or crossing it straight to a contested area for the goal.

In saying that we had a lot of chances against their keeper from some nice positioning but struggled to find the net as often as they found ours. Thought Goulding had a pretty good game along with a couple of midfielders namely Mrdja and Puca.

Anyway, probably a little unlucky not to take the win but there's still work to do to improve defensively as we can't expect every side to leave open gaps in between their defense lines.

Good luck next week (is it against Republica Dominicana or Azerbaycan?). Either way they're the next 2 opponents and are pretty much must win games.

Yep Looking at making the tactic by about wednesday - I have a really busy week at work this week (60+ hours) thanks to a national tournament. Going to have to get things done earlier in the week this week =)

Pretty close game in the end. Another win to take us to 2/3 for the qualifying campaign. As they say it doesn't matter how you do it, just as long as you do :).

Thought they were quite fortunate to avoid a red card in their defense line. 10 fouls is a lot to give away.

Congrats again on another win Tigermaster. Important matches coming up in 2 and 4 weeks. That's where we'll qualify or not. Belarus shouldn't be underestimated as they've smashed us in the past and have a better team then their ranking suggests.

Azerbaijan next week though, should be a pretty similar game as this week with a few more goals our way I would expect.
