Dont misunderstand me, I am not happy with result. I had to win that game altoughtit is a friendy match. About what I am happy is we played well in def and midfield. This gives me hope for future.

for me everything works fine:P 4:2 and 3:1 with Sweden, 4:1 with Poland, 3:1 with Nederland, 6:2 with Germany, 3:0 with Norge, 0:0 with Chile - imo very good results:P

and South Africa was very luck in that game, even their coach said that he didn't deserve a draw :)

as for El Salvador - as I've said, not my responsibility. :P

My goal was not to attack you, just don't be too happy with defence after such game. There's always something to work on :)

Yeah I agree it would be nice for me to say something about the matches, but I don't watch them anymore :P Just like to win haha.
So really I can only talk about selections, or the 'average' tactic. If I start watching games, I'm sure I'd have plenty to say during a win or a loss, but I just don't have time to watch anymore.

I'm sure you will come back from this now you have seen how the players play, and get a bunch of wins

It takes me back. It looks a lot like the all the players and the formation that was mainly used with those players from the U21 team 9 seasons ago when I managed the team. Great to see a manager finally playing Griffiths as a winger again! I much prefer Erdogan playing in the guts too.

Erdogan's pace is only magic , we saw in last period of the game, he was really slow.

yeah. With his pace, never understood why he got played as a winger. Too slow against a 5 man backline. He's a great player, but better used central. *braces for cometer backlash*

He's 1-2 training sessions away from unearthly as it's only recently plopped. It's not that slow. If 1 level means so much then Griffiths isn't good enough technically, I mean it's a bit of a rubbish statement to make unless Griffiths has divine or better pace himself.

Don't get me wrong, Griffiths is a good option for a winger but I know where I'd prefer Erdogan to be given the choice.

However, if the team is stronger with Griffiths as a winger based on midfield skills then by all means Erdogan should be used central since he has the defensive capabilities.

At the moment there is only one problem, but in common with many national teams. Many shots and a few goals. Any idea how to fix it?

Not a lot you can do but a 2nd striker helps to reduce the ratio as they can pick up rebounded shots and usually shoot at an open net. However, doesn't give a lot of room to move defensively either.

Nah, it's been like this since the release of the new M.E when it went 3d. It makes it much more likely to win with fewer shots because the M.E almost seems to recognise the weaker side and so compensates to try and keep the scores realistic. At least that's my impression. You don't often beat sides 10-0 anymore.

Yeah, I call it handicap. It's usually visible when there is a 10+ shots difference between teams.
