Asunto: National Team

OMG. This explains why my team has lost this season because they are all fatties, even though my tactics are awesome.

looking at 5-6 of my players, the BMI is about 24.5 :(

time to train pace/stamina? :P

Ellem played perfect today he has only solid form but better BMI. This time our striker was wasteful.

That has to be one of the best draws we've had in years, particularly given we're a bottom 3rd seed.

yup. Probably still won't make it, but it's much easier than the last ones...

although check Indonesia - they are as strong as Australia

i think so too, that it is not bad draw. but you think we have superb team :) only 3 good stikers and they were not fit all in same time. Even if we were in 2. pot, i am not sure that we wil be in easier group.

I suggest you to be coach in NT. I am sure you will do it in this group..

IMHO it's a quite difficult stage, considering that Ecuador is almost equal to Australia and Indonesia is not that far. On the other hand, otherwise England and France are not the strongest team Australia may have find, so the NT may have a good chance...

Who are the managers of the other teams? If a good manager gets the Ecuador or Indonesia job, they could get some points off England/France and make it difficult for us. Or that could help us... it depends on our results.

We play Ecuador last. That could be an interesting game.
We also play France 2nd last. If they already have enough points to qualify, they might not be so desperate in this game.

Not an easy group, but from pot 3, it's a very good group for us!

Indonesia and Ecuador are similar in strength to us you are correct, but it's for this reason we've got a good draw as the top 2 sides are not untouchable and other teams might be able to steal points from the top 2 as well.

I don't think we have a superb team. I'm well aware of our limitations. I also know we've gotten by with a lot worse before and the current crop of players is probably the strongest side we've ever been able to put out relatively speaking.

No draw is going to be easy for us anymore as we don't have the userbase to continue to feed top quality players to get into that high 70+ avg marks required to win world cups. However, that being said the draw could have been a lot nastier for us then drawing England and France. Still think they're the favourites for the group but at least we've got a better chance than in past seasons.

Ecuador will confirm his previous CT and Indonesia may do the same, but it's not that easy, considering that many users have already received a vote. England is in the same situation of Ecuador, whereas France may give us a surprise, considering that the CT is running vs the previous U21 CT...

First match will be vs Ecuador, so we will understand immediately the level of the group!
In my experience I've seen that no match is as easy as it may seem: when I coached Pilipinas I was able to stop Portugal (and they were not qualified yet), or I stopped Peru on a tough 1-0.

I know the coach of Indonesia and he is doing a very good job [we're together in the Polish NT association] so it won't be an easy game.
