Panama vs Australia 2-1

Our last game of the group stage ended in a defeat, 2-1 against Panama. It was quite an even game, maybe the final result should habe been a draw, but it wasn`t to be.

We finished 4th, but I remain upset that we could not make more against Colombia in the decisive game.

Next week we encounter Bulgaria U26, yet again playing with our young generation u26.

U26 Friendly Game

Bulgaria U26 vs Australia U26 2-0

Today we played a U26 game against better rated side Bulgaria. The guys reacted good and got as well a good mark 70%.

There is a lot of potential in these lads. Go Aussies!

For Saturday I`ve arranged a U28 game against Slovenija.
I will be using players that did not play that much this season.

Friendly game, U28

Slovenija U28 vs Australia U28 2-5

Today we played a U28 match against European side Slovenija.
We had a great comeback, we were down with two golas after 23 minutes, but we still had the power to win this one. All three strikers scored as well I appreciated the way Crampton, Singleton and Baveas played. All of the players were awsome.

Next game we will play against Indonesia. Their manager refused an Under age game, so must probably I will play a game with mixed players, maximum 2-3 general first team players.

Regarding next season, I decided not to participate to the Mini World Cup as I want to estalish a good schedule for us.

Indonesia vs Australia 2-1

Yesterday we played a mixed game with player until the age of 29. Our entire central mid line was Steel Fury registered:) We dominated the match, had more possession and scoring chances, the opponent got free from our defs for two times and he scored.

Nevertheless a good training match.

I`m sorry for Harold Vieri`s injury, I apologise uber, 26 days is a huge period, more than 3 weeks of absence.

Good, even the opponents used their younger team.You had a lot youngs to.
Why you not used Upton?I like him very mutch.
But i'm very satisfied seen again others like Crampton, Coombes, Willetts or Hewitt.

Upton and its skills recomand him more as a winger. I played a more defensive tactic, 4132, so he could not fit the plan:) But, he will have his chance this season, don`t worry about it:d

Philipinas vs Australia 2-0

Unfortunately we did not play the best game against Philipinas. Still, we had some scoring changes, but the opponent was more efficient.

Next game we are up against a better ranked opponent, Cuba.
