Unfortunately we did not play the best game against Philipinas. Still, we had some scoring changes, but the opponent was more efficient.
Next game we are up against a better ranked opponent, Cuba.

Cuba vs Australia 5-2
I have played the last game with the oldies, but not that goldies, generation today. It all ended in a lost game, as imagined the lads lacked freshness, but our tactic was not as well the best, the opponents winger had a lot of space in Bridge`s location, so must of their goals came from that direction.
Good buy oldies, it is young lads time. Go, go, Sokkeroos!

We played again, like every season, a match against our arch rivals, New Zealand. We dominated the mid line, had better scoring chances, we managed as well to miss a penalty shoot and lost the match in the 90th minute:|

Australia vs Senegal 6-0
It was a one way game, we dominated all 90 minutes of the game and could have scored much more goals. Nevertheless we played great. I hope we will keep up with our winning streak.

Australia vs Slovenija 1-0
We came winners again, playing against better ranked side of Slovenija. It has been quite an even game, in the end we managed to swipe a well deserved win.
If you will watch the game, in the 17th minute, there was a funny incident, two of our defs knocked and both got injured, Coombes had to be substituted :|

Australia vs Cameroun 5-0
Today we played a nice U27 game against African side Cameroun. I enjoyed how the young 23yo defs played, Cook and Singleton. They look like decent prospects for the future.
Bate scored yet again a hattrick, Cummins found the net for two times.
Next week we will have to find a new opponent as England has reached the World Cup final and we can not play our scheduled U27 against them.

Best line ups were used in today`s game by both sides, it was kind of a closed game, played mostly in the mid line, it was not that spectacular and it ended in a goalless draw.

Australia vs Crna Gora 1-2
Saturday`s 4411 tactic did not help us that much, the lack of form of our main defs was shown on field. We can be happy that we received just two goals. Anyway, I am very surprised of the force the small Crna Gora has, especially playing with young players.

Australia U28 vs Israel U28 3-5
Yet another Under Age game, a U28. We managed to come back from 0-1 and 1-2, leading 3-2, but it was not enough. The away side was superior in every domain, the only one fit to the job being again and again, Bate, a hattrick scorer.

Even though it might have seem a rugby derby not a sokker one, it was really a sokker match:)
It was quite a even encounter between SA and us, a very disputed game which ended into a 2-2, Vieri saved the day with his 90th minute goal.
