Asunto: National Team

Nice win Agbell.

But c'mon, another McPharlin injury. I normally wouldn't care too much, but he is the only reason I'm training pace, so his constant injuries mean I'm training pace longer than I have too :(

(This is not a post to say stop playing him in the NT, if he stays fit, it will help him with his training, was just bad luck).

It was a good win and it means NZ takes the three match series two wins to one. Not a horrible result given they are about twenty spots ahead of us in the rankings.

When I saw you playing them again, I was thinking, oh dear, glutton for punishment. But it was a great win, definitely one to be proud of as they are fielding a very strong team these days

adequate stamina tragic keeper

adequate passing very good striker

Needs a lot of pace training.
I know I posted about him a while ago when he was last up on the TA, but dont remember if he was SD or just D back then.

I'm sure the owner probably wants an arm and a leg for him, but it would be a waste if he were to not offload him soon, because there will be some pace trainers out there looking for this (although funnily enough, would probably sell for more as Divine, as people will then think he will sell for more with a random to SD)

Also wages.

SuperD increase in wages generally isn't worth it for the minor increase in performance. Certainly at Australian league levels its rarely worth it.

That said, I'd still pick him up for training reasons.

I should show you guys my strikers...woudn`t be in your 40 player squad probably :P
Indeed I have a pretty decent midfield and defence, but the team lacks ATT big time.

Deserved win for you guys though. And good luck in the qualifications.

Sorry about the injury mate. He will only miss 1 training though :)

Emil Kamara, age: 26, height: 171 cm
value: 1 704 800 AU$, wage: 19 040 AU$
club: Tribe, country: Australia
incredible form, magical tactical discipline

formidable stamina, tragic keeper
brilliant pace, adequate defender
divine technique, solid playmaker
very good passing, formidable striker

Finally bumped in pace, so I'm going to move him on. Anyone particularly want an Aussie striker and want a friendly listing time? Played 41 games for the NT, but I'm guessing he was just the top junior option for a while.

I'd say you are probably right. Must have been the striker when McPharlin was in the U21s.
2020-09-03 14:23:20
So I took a look back, and he played a bunch in defense, and whoever the NT coach was, was playing with default tactics.

He also played a bit of MID which makes more sense.

And the two U21 strikers from his time in the U21 squad, no longer exist

Wow what a group for the senior WCQ

Team Matches Wins Draws Losses Goals Points
1. Hrvatska 0 0 0 0 0-0 0
2. Türkiye 0 0 0 0 0-0 0
3. Ukraina 0 0 0 0 0-0 0
4. Australia 0 0 0 0 0-0 0
5. El Salvador 0 0 0 0 0-0 0
6. Daehan Minguk 0 0 0 0 0-0 0

Just to put this in perspective.
Hrvaska is ranked 7th, so pretty much a median team for 1st basket (not quite, but pretty much).
Turkey is a very strong 2nd basked group, so chances of making the WC are slimmer than pre-draw.

Ukrania are the worst 3rd basket group, we are 4th basket and El Salvador are one of the top 5th basket groups, so the battle for 3/4/5 is going to be great to watch this season, and it could go either way for us.

Finally Daehan Minguk are a decent 6th basket, but shouldn't put up too much of a fight

Hate to say it, but it looks like Dave Comley was ruined at his latest owners club

Currently on TL with these skills

Age 26
formidable stamina tragic keeper
superdivine pace outstanding defender
incredible technique brilliant playmaker
excellent passing solid striker

When he was last listed, he was this

Age 22
formidable stamina tragic keeper
Unearthly pace Formidable defender
Very Good technique Outstanding playmaker
Solid passing Good striker

At that stage, he really needed long term Def training, for a nicely rounded 2x D/SD defender.

Or trained as a mid with no more pace, getting that passing up, instead of making the jump from Divine to Superdivine, which probably took 12 weeks anyway.

If someone was doing very long term training of pass or def, could probably get to Incred/Brill/Mag passing, or Mag/Unearthly def, but it would be a good 2-3 seasons of training that one skill.

Well, two really good wins to finish what was a tough season. Still massively struggling with depth, massively struggling in defence, but battling on.
