Today I did it a little late, all because of the order I'm trying to make on sokker asistente. Everything seems to look fine, I just have get to the managers who haven't updated their players for quite a while.

Tough game today, luckily everything ended well.
Before the game I made an assumption that my opponent will use his club tactics (that's the first thing managers do when they face a team with a new manager and don't know what tactics is he going to use). The assumption was right and it came not so bad. Could have placed mids a little wider, especially the winger.
The game came out very even but that was something we all could have expected. I mixed the squad a little bit and put three younger defs, since they standed a chance against Uzbeks' atts.
I'm still working on the base and the updates. Next week it should be 100% done on the sokker assistente and maybe an excell sheet with some formulas to automatically count players' points in each positions. I'll send it to you at the end of the season, @agbell for the future managers to make their work easier.

Congrats on starting with a win. Close call with late winner.
15 shots to 9, so it points to a deserved victory.

Haven't had the chance to watch the game, but good work on the win.

Tough game against Russia. A little more risk to push forward mids and atts and stick the defenders close to the penalty box.
We had our chances, all of them with just the gk to beat when our opponents won the headers against our players and took shots with headers in 90%. The score is still crushing, so I need to work more on the tactics.
I received a message from the Russia's coach, saying that he was pretty surprised with the offensive attitude and didn't expect that at all, claiming it was a pretty even game :)

It can take time to get used to the team, so the odd bad loss is expected.

I am a bit surprised with the team selected knowing a fair few of the players skills (ie McPharlin and Bailey out, but Sam Worthy in).

It can definitely be frustrating when 1v1 with the GK don't come off, yet a lot of theirs seem to come off for sure.

Sammy needs more training and it will help him grow. He's getting short on time since already is 24yo, so it'll be harder to train him later. We lack U27 defenders, there are: Bailey, Collina, Selling and Worthy, all of them will get as many chances as possible to get that extra training points from the NT matches.
As it comes to McPharlin and Bailey whom you've mentioned, they are not as complete as other players. McPharlin is low on pass, Bailey on tech and pm. They would not fit too well in my tactics on that game, where there was a pretty huge gap between defenders and mids and I needed the highest possible levels of pass and pm to transport the ball from the defenders straight to the atts.
