Asunto: National Team

So close to leave a sweeter taste after my work here. Decent game, score could have been better. Something has started working out here lately, shame that last game didn't end with a win.

At what cost to me Bailey getting injured....whilst he's on the transfer market.
This will mean millions in lost money.
I already had him not playing in tomorrow's league game to avoid cards & injury as deadline is tomorrow evening.
More than likely this has made the decision for me as far as SK goes.....will sell my other trainable players this week & hibernate.

I'm truly sorry for what happened today. I hope you won't lose as much money as you think - after all this is just a 10-day injury, so he'll be available for Wednesday's game and will get Thursdays training.

Managers are unlikely to play a SI player midweek if they're looking to have ready for league games on weekend.....risk of longer injury would be too great (would for me anyway).
Maybe I should have messaged to ask not to play him, but I did post on forum that he was on the market.

I know. Totally my fault, haven't thought this through. Hope I can make it up to you some way.

Last day of the elections. Just 2 Aussies have voted so far. Comparing to last season's 9 or 10 votes, doesn't look so well.

I think it just shows the strength of you and Izsolt as candidates.
Whilst a couple of the current people have started their campaign, neither have seemed to have gone on with it at this stage.

I think this election was definitely up for grabs if anyone really got in to it.

That and I know at least 4 of the active NT Aus crew who are in an extremely busy few weeks of their lives, so probably feel they don't have enough information to make an informed vote

I had same toughts about few people voting, at least for a well known as achmid for U21NT

The future of Australian NT is not bright, we need to something, but specially people from Australia needs to start pulling as many juniors as possible, then sell them, I know many communities will be ok to train juniors that are not stars in the first seasons

The graph shows the quantity of australian players around the world, ages from 16 to 20 of course will be increased, but the tendency is so bad, in other countries the curve stabilize at 22 or 21 yo, but in australia still falls down

I don't see it necessarily staying that way as this reflects the time when former managers had left the game, but have since returned. If these returning managers, along with the newer ones, develop juniors, the numbers for 20 years & older will start to swell over coming seasons....IMHO.

sure, totally agree fantum. Actually there are alrerady more 19 yo than 20 yo players, which is the first good sign

Mi point is that the decrease in players from actual 27 to 24 yo is a worlwide behavior, and then start to stabilize, but I see still Australia dropping. Things will change, yes. But as I mentioned before, examples like scotlan with less users than australia and being rank 16 shows that still Australia can do it better, this starting as community

I know the problems of small country (money) which I also find a big dissadvantantage, but other communities can help for its development :)

We are yet to have all managers to fully invest in youth schools so that is something that can be improved.
At least now we appear to have second division junior league, but it doesn't help when A league is 7 teams & div is 5 teams.....so each week a team misses out on playing.
