It's just an indicator for me showing if the players are progressing. Growing marks tell us that everything's going well, especially when you're using U27 players.
You're totally right saying that marks are not playing. The best example here is Czech Republic winning WC :)

I never said marks are not playing: "for me sometimes it doesn't tell you the truth". Funny about Czech. But that is why I said sometimes. Using the same players and tactic on the prevous game against Portugal we just got 71.4 points. Some other examples about marks that dont give a real picture is the italy from 2 seasons ago, marks 80+ and didnt qualify, and there are more reasons about taking care on reading the marks.
About the comming U27, We are safe on GKs and defenders, the upcoming players are better than the experienced ones, MIDs are comming a little bit weaker but almost on that level, about strikers Jim Judd is 31yo and there is no other att like him comming in the next 5 seasons, we might start playing 4-6-0 :P

This is how we finished this season. I am very very dissapointed about the results, we got only 6 points, we had a final draw against Tunis very unfair and both matches against Peru we dominated but the quality of players is the clear response.
On the good side, can be said that we left Portugal without WC,2 draws, they were able to do only 2 points, the 4 points missing to fight the 2nd spot that they woul mhave gotten due to gol difference.....
If you look at the table, I am very proud to say that our rivals scored in total 20 times to us, this is a great insight, Australia, was the only team to play with 4-line defenders, even the top nations played with 5 defenders almost all the matches and we succeed on let our rivals score almost same as the other nations allowed, we got 20 goals same as peru and very close to Latvija and Portugal.
Now, looking at the scored goals, we were able to score only half compared to the top teams, this is very clear what we had to face every week, our best striker was low in form the full season, plus the 2nd and 3rd striker also low form. The 4th striker was top in form, but 34yo and decreasing the skills was not the best bet. Anyway we created many good chances, this due to our great midfield, we were competitive and I can say that most of the matches we played better than our rivals, of course face to face man we lost most of the times, but we compensated this weakness playing great as a team
The performance during the qualification time was good, final results didnt help us to be in better position on rank (65) but the team is playing great. We had 2 big mistakes on the friendlies. First against cuba we didnt use even 1 of the top players, just not to risk them due to the lack of subsitutions. Lost 6-0, deserved, the 3rd friendly was agains a powerful Ukrania, we were winning 3-1 at min77 but then a substitution to take out and care 1 of our defenders, create a big hole in defense. Didnt expect ukraine to score 3 golas in the last 15 minutes.... but this is sokker

Easy match, 21 shots and only 2 goals
Australia - Portugal 2:2
Portugal is very strong on defense, we still were able to shot 5 times. We were losing 2-0 and then changed tactic to 2 strikers, we scored 2 times and also had 1 last chance. our best mids, Nicole and Hammond were not available. In this match at min 5, Bailey gave a penalty that Newtos stop :)
We had more posession but the wings from Portugal are beast, the entered many times, making most of the shots only heads, which are not so harmful but still were able to score 2 times

Bulgaria - Australia 3:1
The team with best rank and players, high defense line making very difficult for australia to pass, once again we focused on taking care of the ball, we had possession of this 49% and still if this didnt allowed us to reach the opposite goalie many times, at least Bulgary didnt create more option
In this match we gave 2 penalties, 1st one ghannam at min 11 and second one was Zmire at min 77. Bulgary scored the second penalty, otherwise final result would have been 2-1

This time the one who gave penalty was Selling at min 76, but they missed it.
Another game with 49% possession but this time we were able to reach the opposite golie, 9 shots plus many other times that our striker just didnt want to shot... crazy.
A little bit surprised by Latvija, they have very good team, it is more balanced that Portugal and I think that made the difference. Still Hammond and Nicole not available. Nicole was injured 4 weeks and Hammond was still below 10 form

Perú - Australia 4:2
Peru is very strong on possession, still we were able to keep the ball 48% of the time, we created more options and more clear than the ones Peru created.
It was a frontal confrontation in the midfield and Peru was able to win face to face, but we did better as team being able to reach in better way the opposite goalie

We started using Hammong and Nicole, it allowed us to change tactic from 4231 to 4132 as Nicole is secure enough to play as unique MID DEF
Australia - Perú 0:1
Peru changed tactic from 3232 to 4 3 2after see that we reached many times and their GK was the MVP. Now they didnt populate that much the midfield and we got 51% possession, Peru shot the same 9 times and we improved from 11 to 13 shots, but this time only 1 goal. This one came at min 84, very bad luck

This time we won the possession of the ball, even if we played on our field, we didnt give the ball to those latvijan strikers. That was key

Very sad the match was 2-2 until min 86, then at min 87 Bukgary was able to score.
This last goal came just because the GK didnt do the kickoff, instead of that was a defender who did it, leaving the Bulgarian strikers on nice possitions and NO offside... damn

Woooowww. So nice!!! Collina is the closest player to replace Nicole as mid def, otherwise tácticas would need to be usted with 2xMidDef
What is he continúe training???
Zmire is 33 yo and he has been our center defender, Collina will replace him in that position, he is becoming our wall.
He has done great matches stopping the rival wing, just check his rating in the NT

Great run down of the season mate, as you can probably tell by what I post in U21, I love all these little added things managers can write up, or show stats of etc
I will give Collina a bit more pace with tech as well.

Ah fair enough, work getting in the way. I was wondering why you would sell everything off as you'd probably make more in A-League.

Hi guys, we lost again, this time we played against Deuthchland (#3 in rank), the result as usual, lost by 1 goal. 1-0
As vampyr noticed before, our rating increased, we create few options but Also we didnt allow Germány to create many, the goal came by a corner kick, but anyway our GK had a very good presentation.
Looking at germany's rating on the match, I though they played with B Team, but looking at the last match they played against Brasil, they used the same players, so the played A Team, they changed 2 guys, I think 1 because of injury and the second one because of red card. Anyway, Still with less match rating average in number, they preserved the rating on lines (defender, passing, striker)
We had possession of the ball :) but when trying to attack is very difficult to pass, of course they have better players, anyway we are able to do a great team job in order to reach very high zone on the pitch
I am very happy about the defense, despite have I have said that our defs are low in secondary skills (which is true), they always xover the next player, I mean, If the first defendér is beaten, then immwdiatly comes a second one or sometimes a 3rd one.
Super very incredible strong defense, few goals received with 4 line defense even playing against top nations

Good result all the same. Almost feels like with just a little bit of luck we could pinch the odd draw or win against these higher ranked nations. :)
We might start having better luck next season.
Well fantum, Jim judd is starting to improve in form. He played today less than 20 minutes and he had 2 chances, one head and 1 shot , both chances inside the box, the goalie seems to have nothing to do but both times there was a German defender in the correct place and kick off the ball

Victory against Malaysia, Country better ranked than Australia, we used same tactic but as Malaysia plays with very advanced defense, then, we put our defense 1 step back, this to provide room for our mids, so they can do their magic.
We shot 13 times and malaysia shot 5 times. Great for our secure defense.
I hope next season to do this kind of matches, play always with better ranked countries so we can add rating points but also make them loss points, will be easier to climb to their positions. Now we are 64. we reached again pot 4. which will be important for next qualifications. next match will be gainst New Zealand :)
I want to say that renovation has started BUT the priority are the results, some resume:
GKs: 2 Gks U26, for next season our 3rd Gk will be the one that is nou 21 yo
DEF: on tha main team we have 3 U27, one 30 yo and one older (zmire). Zmire si playing less each game, he was playing 90' on qualifications, once the other U25 get on stamina/form, Zmire will be in touch as assitant, not as player, we are very close to have a FULL U27 defense line with players of first quality!
MIDS: Right now we are not using any U27, but no need to worry, we are using 4 very good players between 28 and 30 yo, and our 2 stars: Nicole(35yo) and Hammond (34yo), These "old" guys dont have replacement but of course they are the ones who will start giving time to the U27 players, our U27 MIDS are very good in quality, so, not too much to worry about, they still need more development but they are doing very good.
ATT: Our star is Jim Judd (31 yo) and he will play as much as he can, I hope he finally start improving form. The other strikers are getting old: allan Ng (35yo), Rob Alagich(35yo) and his brother Tim Alagich (34yo). It is hard to select a different player other than these. There are comming some strikers that are not very good. The next best striker is Kyle Trappe who is very slow but I dont really care that, he needs more striker skill and I think vivski is still working on it, Our playing style dont need a super fast striker, but he needs to take good control and good shot inside the area. So Trappe will be our bridge and very useful player in 2 seasons, anyway he will play some matches on the upcomming season, he already played and socored, plus he is 26 yo, so for any U27 tournament he will be our card on attack!!
We had evan singleton but he is already a lost player (18-7-11), he is our waterboy
Our next star will be Julian Trajcevski, achmid has done a great job with this player. He will start playing as soon as he has options
So, this was a small writting about ages and quality of players, I am sure that this season we will start getting better results, we already have our stlyle and nobody can say Australia was an easy opponent, we just need the last puch.
