I am very happy how is working the first tactic, also the players feel free to play and they told me they are more used to this tactic, it fits better for them.

We could have won for more, we had many good chances but this time luck was not with us. Some other times we are the lucky ones with our savior Caleb (GK)

We won today against a world class team, Azerbayan is going to wc starting next week. Altough they didnt use all the best players, this "B" team is really strong. Their average mark was 74 with B team, last week their mark was 75.4 in the victory against polska and very similar on marks line by line.

Next week we are going vs Spain.
They are going to play u27, we will play free, but i want to use some young players too. Australia playing U27 would be no sense as our gap on good players is from 24 to 27 yo

We have played 3 matches after azerbayan

Spain
Lost 4 0, didnt expect too much, match was arranged u28 +3 free. But spais is a beast, I think if they play u24 still they have better players....
We were able to fight sometime in the midfield but they have an unstoppable striker

Hayastan
They were better in tactic, we did well our job but lack of striking power. We used at the end some young for training purposes

Rossiya
Expected to be very har match, they had more options but we had more "clear options". We used Farmer as GK with only solid form, our best 2 GKs were injuried and Borg (u21) was not used just not to risk that guy as u21 tournament is on qualification stage.


We have been very weak lately, no options for substitutions, since many weeks ago, we always have 4 or 5 players injuried, we are still able to line up a good first 11, but the substitutios are weak.
Last match for example we were not able to use caleb(gk), newton (gk), ashley (wing), sam (def) and selling (def).

Well, now all these guys are recovering but I hope they get 100% for asian cup starting in a couple of weeks, so far we are still on rank 63

Hi guys, I have been busy lately, sorry for short writing.

So far, we are today back to victory, I dindt like winning only 1 0 against an almost similar team (ranking and average rating) but still being australia superior...

I was checking and this is the first loss of macedonia this season, which makes more valuable our victory, plus, thay always score. This is the first match in the season when macedonia goes blank...

Today's players are the ones that will be used in asian cup, I would like to read comments about tactic and players used today...

Defeat today.

Ireland was better than us. We played u27 +1. I chose Nicole as the senior, but we were very poor on attack, anyway I am waiting for the asian cup. This match and the next one (malaysia u28) are arranged like this not to risk our main team.

About our u27 team, for the next 3 seasons our defense will be stronger, our attack will be limited to 1 striker IF he gets good training and our midfiled will be weaker. Looks like it is time to test another tactic for this u27 matches.

Malaysia arranged with another team. So we are playing against China. Will try to use a senior B team so we minimize risk of injuries for the players that will be in the Asian cup

Well, I think this might be good for the NT, as they should not play on sunday. All 3 injuries where on MID position.

I am a little bit concerned about the lack of goals. Today, every 8 shots, 1 goal and this is becomming usual.

For the next match, I might use a tactic with 2 strikers, depending on availability, altough we are in asian cup and dont wanna bee too proactive. The team is working fine, not as good as I wanted but is going nice

Nice win to take us through to the Final 8 of the Asian Cup.

On a sad note, I see that McPharlin has now hit 30 :'( That was a hard player to sell off.

By my calculation, we will be the 2nd or 3rd best 2nd place finisher (behind Viet Nam and maybe Bolivia if they lose)

Next week will be a good contest, which despite us finishing in 2nd in our group, we have the players to match it with any of those possible combinations (Bolivia being the hardest but not a huge difference in ratings).

Putting in perspective based on the latest game - Ratings as follow:

Australia - 72.5
Indonesia - 72.3
Bolivia -76 .5
India - 72.8

we might face India or Bolivia on next round

Ratings is kind of lie, but, substitutions on Midfield are working nice. Hammond and Nicole are playing less each match. Also Julian is on the bench, with only 22yo, will try to give him minutes as possible.

India is a very strong team. we might use the same tactic with some modifications, plus tactic with 2 striker. Today that tactic was not needed. If we face India will have to be detailed because thy play very secure and push a lot. So far, we can not count with Jimm...... :(

Hi guys, we had an awful defeat against Bolivia, 4-0. greg Selling got a red card at 17'. This forced our MID DEF to play as center defender. Still we were able to play a great match abd ball was 50% for each team, altough more on our side. Was a good game if we see we had only 10 players, final result not good. We faced many guys down. Our best triker, Jud, again injuried, the subtitution was Julian, only 22 yo. We had 3 GK, but 2 of them were injuried and the one left had very low form, not too much to do about that.

I will post soon the graph, some rating points are gone lately as I have been very busy. Also I want to let you know that next season it will be very hard for me to handle the NT. I have players in my head and it is very easy to select the first squad, but being wcq, I wont have time to analyze opponents or to modify tactics. if you guys have a good option t continue with the NT please let me know. I wont be away from the forum and have my support about DB and tactics, I am not goin anywhere else, IF there is a chance after 1 or 2 seasons to come back I will be glad, But I dont want to sacrifice a possible qualification. So far we are still on pot4.!!

Might be time for Achmid to have a stint as NAT manager.

Appreciate the vote of confidence agbell, but I'm pretty happy continuing with the U21s for the time being. Plus I'll be starting a new job in about 6 weeks so who knows what that will have in store for me.
