We got annihilated. Broxton's injury was the turning point, since we lost an excellent defender with pace that way, which was evident in the fifth goal.

Anyway, if Nederlands haven't changed their tactic we could have score some goals.

They have great attackers...and that's what Australia need - attackers :/
One with technique, one with speed.
Without those we will have difficulties to win matches.

I think you were doing quite well untill the first goal. I really was getting worried we'd never get through your tight defense. But when Sibon started giving those marvellous try-through passes, it was all done within minutes...

And yes, like you said, Borkos, your tactic was made for the tactics we usually play. If we played one of those, the difference would have been smaller.

I don't have all the info. If I'll get training plans and they won't be good I'll tell you :)

To borkos and Sriram:

In my opinion to score goals you have to put defensive line much higher because when defs earlier get the ball then your team would have less space to go over. (your actions start earlier not at your penalty box but perphaps near the half line)

With that defensive tactic you wouldn't have much shots.

I'm not sure if getting them higher would be a good idea :/
The defs aren't so good at all...

You can only play like that if you have fast defenders. Don't know how is the case with Australian defenders though...

With slow defenders placed high and fast strikers on the same line from opposite team, you know the outcome :)
