Even the 2nd seed it beatable with some good tactics and a bit of luck.

I'd say "a lot of luck" needed to beat 76-78 rating Nederland, even Ireland from 3rd will be a very demanding opponent with rating around 74-76

It's hard to think about going to senior World Cup without reaching the minimum of 75+ rating and at least 3rd pot (and then hoping for a weak 2nd pot opponent)

Definitely hard, but about as good as we can get.
Don't worry, I won't judge if we don't make it to the world cup haha

Yeah I would have thought we’re looking at 3rd/4th still but it definitely is a nicer draw than we’ve had. Played Ireland a few seasons ago and lost 1-0 and a lot of things weren’t good heading into that tactically. Also feel that a few seasons further older players from these smaller countries start to drop away more and so we should catch up at some point given our current user base size and activity.

Good news everyone! SA propagated most of data, therefore most tedious part of process is partially done :) Now I'll recheck Mikoos DB and compare it with players missing in SA

There won't be any players missing (but there will be some players who you look at and wonder how sad their progress was - usually because they had to be sold and the buying team didn't train them)

Knowing what I know of the GK's, I think you will find he likely won't play for the NT unless severe form issues hit. He hardly played for the U21s.

Other GK I think would be worth looking at are
Luka Borg - probably too old and dropped skills by now
Austin Munn - likely future #1 and better than D'Alberto despite being 5yrs younger
Neil Ponting - was better when he left u21s
Patrick Brain
Travis Choony - 2 level behind on pace back when he graduated
Joel Ponting

Then some extras who weren't quite as good leaving school
Dheran Plesa
Scott Hart
Campbell Swain
Owen Shaw.

There are a couple of older players, but I think they would really be dropping skills by now (Fihaki, Newton, Farmer, Simpson)

That's why I marked him as "if time is right". Based on current skills I see him as 13th-ish keeper (not taking form into account) :)

Haha true, you did mark him as that, although I wonder whether we would need to be in an apocalypse for it to be right.

Yeah I had Ponting and brain as our best keepers followed by Stanton and borg. Munn slides into 5th but will be our #1 at some point.

I also have the skills of most of our players too including all the ex u21s that Achmid listed as leaving in the u21 thread. Grabbed all those skills before I lost my ability to see skills.

So I am also available.

Only player I know we can’t get skills for is Jeans because their manager didn’t want them to get injured for the NT. Ironically I was willing to negotiate on that but they weren’t so I played Jeans anyway and he never got injured so go figure. It’s probably starting to be an issue though as Jeans ages and the skills I have for him are less likely to be accurate.

Also you should have the best X of each position in the squad currently with maybe a few players that missed out last season that might be worth looking at again this season to see if they’re ready (eg Carr,Munn etc)

Any issues with skills of players send a skmail as I have about 220-230 updated as of yesterday.
