Australia - U.A.E. 1:2
Again and again a new loss with so many 1vs1 opportunities missed by our ATTs (in front, on the side, after center...) whereas the opponent ATTs managed to score twice in 2 min.
We will play for the last position of the Mini WC competition on next week... Not good at all.
After that, we will compete into the Asian Cup.

You're either literally the most unlucky guy on the planet or just need to take all the tactic points that have been made so far into serious consideration.
I once was set on fire just as you are right now but I'm just shit at tactics, so all that was completely deserved to get my ass kicked :D

I have to take stefnihon in defence... he is normally doing well at club where he won big arcade tourney Even with not best team, and had decent results with Denmark nt aswell..... im sad to see My friend have such bad results here
In fairness think by the end of your first season all that stuff had stopped because you improved :p.
First initial thoughts here was that was a rough result. We had many chances we didn’t finish and for the most part they had very few but took them. Overall, on the surface that was an unlucky result.
The runs from our strikers were great, really liked how you opened them up everytime we had the ball and we should have scored from that. Only thing I’d like you to check here is in the top row and maybe the 2nd top row were the strikers ahead of the ball or behind? Felt we ran into the keeper too often instead of shooting.
The goals we conceded came from the same place as last week. You know what you need to do to stop that.
I think also your tactics are getting predictable and so are being countered. The defense line positioning depth wise was almost exactly where they had their strikers which helped them get in behind. I still stand by defenders retreating too quickly and I also think our midfielders were often caught in no man’s land when we didn’t have the ball giving their mids time to work out what to do. However, I’ve said the same before too.
Overall though you deserved a better result this week then you got. Created some great chances and just didn’t finish them. This stuff happens.

It’s really little things that are being exploited here. We’re talking the 5% things that take the most amount of time to get right. Unfortunately, those situations have burnt us a few times now and is the difference between a decent season result wise and the all loss except one draw season we have now.
Haven’t seen the club side as i don’t really follow other leagues and also don’t have plus to make a fair assessment. I expect the same issues but might be masked by having much better players then our NT has.

Some good points.
I created a new tactic for the u21s today and lost almost every throw in because of it. My tactic reaked of new tactic haha
Tactics my be predictable but unless you are seeing the opposition change tactics, it unfortunately isn't a big deal as a lot of NT coaches don't make tactics to counter others. Sometimes it's just best to work on one tactic and fine tune it for a bit
I know I sound like I'm replying as if your improvements were meant for me, but rather I'm just relating my own situation. I will have to do a bit of fine tuning on this tactic myself if I want to keep it in the repertoire.
One thing I have noticed, and it's important for all NT managers to realise this, tactics differ based on the strength of the team you are coaching, and the strength of the team you are up against.
Tactics in sokker have evolved based both on ME changes and on teams progressively getting stronger. What works in Div 1 Poland will not be the best tactic for Div 1 Aus, which will note be the best tactic for Div 1 South Africa. It can definitely be difficult changing NTs for this reason.
But all good points really. Sounds like Stef was quite unlucky this week, and maybe a few of those 1% ers was all that was needed to turn a 1 goal loss in to a 1 goal win

Thx to all :-)
At first, i must not consider the most unluckiest on Earth :-). I played tons of games since now, and i admit to be lucky on few and unlucky on few others but often loose or win fairly. I heard where we felt on previous games and changed my tactic basis on these remarks. Not everything because for some different of view, i consider that i'm doing right : to not sub the central def by a mid in case of red card for instance.
For this game, i changed the height of our ATT line as evoked by cometer on last game. We still got some nice opportunities like in previous games and i do not understand why we scored with such a low rating shoot/goal. I must admit i did not see that excepted when there is a big gap between 2 teams and the best team has a lower rating as usual.
We also talked about the goals scored on last game due to height of defense during freekick actions. OK shit happens twice. But here having the same result with quite exactly the same hasardous actions are insane for me, never saw it before. The fk actions occured exactly on the same area that give the last squarred position to be taken into account whereas maybe one pixel above, it should be the 2nd lowest squarred area that should be used... We exchanged in private with cometer about that.
I think of changing totally my tactic for the last game to know if the players can be strong enough to keep the fight all along the game.
I know that i'm not the best tactician of the game, and so far.
I also think about the subs debate. I used them after the 1st game where you evoked that to me. But i must analyze that this action did not give any better options for us. The subs did not change the way of the game. I never use them for my own team and i never consider that my main team was weaker at the end of the game as in the 1st half.

Sometimes all you can do is create the chances and hope the ME gives you a fair conversion rate
Subs made a difference this game but we were already 2 back. Myers gave us some great chances.
Whilst you say you’ve never seen it before regarding giving up goals from the same spot due to tactically having your defense too deep, I’ve seen it enough over my time to know about it and how to counter it. I tried to suggest what you could have done to stop that happening. I actually gave you a few options because I know that area is tricky to manage tactically, it’s exactly the spot you don’t want to foul or to give them an offensive throw etc. It’s all about knowing how the tactical editor applies in a real match scenario and then it’s not a terribly hard adjustment to make. Problem is most don’t design tactics around it and I’m not sure you did for this match either.
That’s the only negatives though. You deserved a better result this game than what you got. Was probably your best game so far despite losing. That’s an encouraging sign. I said it before, it’s not winning or losing I care about, it’s the improvement and you did a better job this game. Again just need to work on and fine tune some of the smaller stuff tactically which means you’ll need to spend a few extra hours of your week when making the tactic.

Shqipëria - Australia 1:0
Well, we finished at the last position of the Mini WC after another loss. We felt tactically with a winger. We should have lost with higher score (1 penalty saved and 3 posts hit).
Another competition will begin on next week : Asian Cup.
I hope to get better results.

I hesitated to write this message after MiniWC, but Australia is getting closer and closer to demotion into 5th pod ...
Maybe it's good time to withdraw from competition and focus either on getting some ranking points or not playing friendlies to not make WCQ unnecessarily harder

Israel - Australia 2:1
ANother competition begins (Asian Cup) and same result... Here, the result should have been 5-0 for Israel easily. Nothing worked.

Hi mangol, i feel sorry to see all your hard work destroyed by my poor results...
But i will keep to play in the Asian Cup as it would be totally wrong to stop now faced to the organizer.

I support staying in the Asian Cup. It'll be a good challenge for us. Both India and Hong Kong will be important games and with good results we can build some momentum. Go for it, Stef.
Australia - Hong Kong 2:0
What ? A win ? No !!... But yes !! :-)
Well, what to say, the 1st half was awful with a lucky goal by Bishop who dribbled all the 3 defenders in front and scored ! Lol !!
In the 2nd half, we had more clear chances and a new thing i never experimented in my SK life : 3 hit posts in 2 minutes !! :-D
Maybe a 4-0 or 5-0 should have been more realistic but a 2-0 even a 2-1 at the end could happen, thx to Munn.
