My season ends as the whole season lasts... with a small defeat. I'm sad but now, time to RIVELINO to raise again strenght and honour of Aussie NT.

As for the tactics - delete them. I don't use other people's tactics. And I think it's right that every coach comes with his own ideas and views.

Not really. A few instances this season where we have been unlucky. Over the course of 13 games when you win 2 or 3 against much weaker teams it’s not simply bad luck.

Hopefully you can take some points off the top 2 teams to stay in with a chance.

I looked at the statistics of all the active teams what players they took out. I have made some changes. You are more familiar with the players of Australia and if I have missed someone I can include in my team, please point it out.

Tomorrow we start with a friendly against the Dominican Republic. Let's wish each other luck :) We will play with the second team. My wish is to avoid getting unnecessary cards , which in time could prove decisive. I would like us to start with a win , although the match is not important compared to the one with Ecuador. We still need to move up the rankings :)

Kinda .... unexpected tactic choice for this NT ;) On the other hand handicap for Dominicana was spot on -> 2:2 in goals while 2:17 shoots scored. Wish You better luck in next game :)

The result is fair. Given the players we played with, it is normal for them not to be able to score more goals. I wanted us to win, but that's how it was written. Next week the matches of truth begin. Hopefully then luck will be with us.

Finally had a chance to go through the group for this qualifying period, it's definitely a tough one.

Sakartvelo should be an easy win, based on their recent ratings, I'd take them on with the u21s
Jamaica is a game you'd be disppointed to lose, but they are close enough that they could steal points
Ecuador is a great 3rd basket to draw, we only have a slightly weaker team so we could achieve 3rd with some good tactics and without bad luck against us

Which leaves the big two
France and Bulgaria. France is rating 81-82 regularly. This will be a tough team to take points off, even with the sk-gods on our side
Bulgaria getting up to 80 but generally 78-79 mark. Again, will be very difficult, but if you happen to steal a draw or two, and they cop a bad result somewhere along the line, it's possible

Good luck with the qualification. We got lucky with our 3rd basket competitor but got tough pot 1 and pot 2 competitors

It's basically as you say. I also think the games against Ecuador could be decisive. Bulgaria and France are very strong. It was very bad luck that we drew France, the strongest team in stream 2 in my opinion. But things can turn around. The points can be stolen. The most important thing now is to start well against Ecuador. I pray there are no injuries in the main squad. I know where Ecuador's weaknesses are. I was in the same qualifying group with them. Thank you! The match was not easy. We managed to escape from the high press with a defense in back. It was difficult, but the defense endured.
