I haven't got the knack of setting up for offsides yet. Watching that Polish game you linked me to showed the Poles to be very effective at it, 'cos they'd stand in a line, then as the ball moved foreward, they'd sprint forward leaving the poor slow Italian striker offside.

I think my defenders are about as fast as a go-kart pulling a skip. So I dont fancy my chances of pulling off that tactic.

Magyarország... on face value they look pretty weak... and we're going to absolutely fill their stadium with fans. :D But will it be a walkover? A good confidence builder for the team? I quess we'll know in an hour or so.

Wow close game, hungary appeared to dominate in that 2nd half but that last goal was a beauty, I swear that full time whistle couldnt have gone off at a better time

Interesting game. So many offsides! Lucky we converted most of our opportunities.

Great game for the FC de Bears players with Brosque, Parkinson and Naumovski all recording personal best ratings.

Brosque scores a brace on debut (the opener and the last minute equalizer) and my own Kris Hirons also made it onto the scoresheet in his debut.

Lol. How on earth our reserves managed a draw? :O

Anyway, nice, nice. Nice one of Hirons - 19yo and already a goal in NT :)
Nice debut for Brosque too. Though going to watch game after my holiday, so now I have saw only goals.

! The first goal should be an assist of Ishida!! :p
Btw...have you seen that all scores were like that: throw in, pass back to thrower, airborne pass - shot? :)

Nice to see Howarth back in action :).

Nice result.

As for Howarth. His PM and Passing look really good to me. Every time he clears it's straight to an aus player or right in the direction of him. Really makes for good viewing after Foley kicking it backwards or behind him (like my defenders) :D

If only one Englishman would like to make Howarths technique better then he would play regularly ;p

He'll be getting tech and def when I'm out of the cup, eventually he'll be a lot better rounded than he is.

The only good thing about his low tech is it reduces his chance of getting injured.

I do need to do some tech training for my England defender so he'll definitely get it.
