That was a shame. I thought it was going to be 10:0 after watching the first 20mins. Newhill's technique was terrible, could not trap the ball at all. Pity, 'cos we generated so many chances with 2-on-1.

But 6:0 is okay I suppose. I was glad to see less off-sides this game, it meant we had a lot more chances.

I thought it would be 10:0+ too...though as I've said - Newhill with this technique shouldn't be even 3rd Att.

Let's wait for Slo - Ned. Last time it was 3:1 for NED, though it wasn't first squad as there were lots of injuries. Let's hope for a big crush...

I wouldnt be calling it tech problems id say more form issues myself. I think we can basically say goodbye to beating slovensko on gd, lets beat them on points instead :p.

I hope for Argentina winning against Slovensko, and drawing with us. That would mean WC :)

Their defensive structure sucked, only 1 def taking on Hroeseinian and Newhill. But the two strikers played close to the centre, so a lot of balls were cut out by that one defender. Just unlucky I think.

yeh difference was though the defenders pushed up a bit which caused the offsides that a normal default tactic wouldnt.

If Slovensko can beat Nederland then so can we. Our defenders were outrun against them last time, but with a smarter tactic, we can hold them out and score ourselves.

It'll be hard. Though...possible.

The key is to win against Argentina. After that we should be in WC, as Argentina won't beat NED, nor Slovensko.

Though....we must just make the best of us!
