Asunto: National Team

Well, that's a bit disappointing. Beaten by a better team I think, but maybe we'll rue mistakes in previous games.

Argentina's goals seemed to be due to play which was just too good. Strikers running around defenders and beautiful balls played in behind. Oh well.

Slow defenders :'(

argentina's first goal looked a little sus, unless thats a back pass :s.

I thought we looked quite good in the opening 30 minutes but as the game went on they looked better and better.

For Argentina. Garcia up front tore apart our defense at will. Including drawing the penalties. Esquivel played some great balls for them as well.

Our forwards fumbled the ball too often. I thought Richter looked pretty good coming on late and forcing some saves. Similarly Whitehouse's fresh legs were effective on the wing. Widera did a mamoth job for us defensively with 21% of the defensive play.

trust me, he wouldn't have done any better against Garcia.

brillaint goal from north's cross. North, Howarth and Whithouse were really good.

Maybe should try a CDM cos Argentina mostly attack from the centre so having defensive midfielder hovering from the half way line to right outside the box would be handy.

Um otherwise we played well. I think formation didnt help us - it was good to go wide upfront. perhaps 3 upfront - 2 wide one in the middle somethin glike this:

4 is a defensive midfielder he will rove up to 7 and back. 7 will move to or next up 9 when 10 or 11 are moving up and going to cross. i think against gud teams we should take a more buildup approach. tats my input.

mitchell popped to solid tech today...that 3 trained pops in 4 weeks :P (1 pace, 1 striker, 1 technique)

Hm...quite bad game against Argentina. Though...till Graf came in it looked good...if the WC system were more fair, then Australia for sure would go to WC. Gr. G was really tough...if only there were 6th team in this group...:/

About Schweiz game - lots of bad luck. Many situations...only one goal. Anyway a really good effort of Howarth...he did made many good passes from defence.

Now it's time for Eesti with competition squad, after that we'll play with 1st team against Norge and New Zealand.

After Ando im not sure how we are going for keepers but i sold this guy Clint Deeley, age: 16 who got 41 in his last match.
