Baeves is now excellent stamina, he shouldnt tire as easily a he used to.

Those goals must have the widest bars! I can't believe we couldn't drive home more of those chances.

I liked the tactic again. Not much wrong there.

Gratz for Cloete, who won in India! :)
2006-11-27 00:12:52
I hope the determining factor between Cloete and the other guy who fielded 2 votes wasn't alphabetical order.

Congrats all the same.
2006-11-27 00:14:44
It's ok imo, as the other gut could vote on himself. :)
2006-11-27 02:14:40
The determining factor was whoever joined sokker earliest. Thats what i read in the Indian Forums from Maix

Thanks borkos.

Congrats to yourself, I certainly voted for you. Interesting to see Barhilo was 2nd highest with 8 votes. I was very tempted to vote for him :D

But hell, just in case he got in I thought better of it!!

Well done Borkos and Cloete.
2006-11-27 22:49:55
Thx. :)

Ok - what kind of NT against Hellas?

I think it's important to get as big exp for defenders as possible. So maybe v. good defence[players that will be best next season] + some mix of youngsters/reserves in mid/att?

Though we can always play U20.

Waiting for all ideas. :)

Congrats to Borkos and Cloete.

Looking forward to some more good games for the NT. I'm sure you'll pull a few things out of your bag of tricks to spice things up. :)

And to Cloete, maybe in training for #1 job back home in a few seasons time?
2006-11-28 09:52:44
We'll see mate ;)

Only really concerned about India and Roar FC at the moment.

Hm..ok, U21 against Hellas, we'll check our true power in this age.

Going to be changed:

Anastasiadis is 22yo, so he's up the limit, but I want to try him. And it's a greek name. :p

Sure they lost a defender after 4 minutes, but what an absolute pantsing of Greece.

Hirons and Richter both looked dangerous in the first half. In the second Hirons started looking a bit tired of all the running to half-way and back constantly due to Greece's ultra-high off-side trap, but still managed to bag a second half hattrick. Croxall capitalised on Richter running their defense ragged in the first half with a perfect 4 goals from 4 shots and added an assist for good measure.

Defense was very solid. Thompson and Coveny ripped it up on the wing. The supply from the midfield was excellent.

Great performance from our U21's.
