Then You can take Parkinson :) and check him in NT again.
2006-12-14 20:54:30
Parkinson will have a test in few weeks, when reserves will play. :)

Funny thing - 1st team is very similiar to U23 team. Wow, this youth are growing up so fast...:)

1 Brendan Ando GK
Wesley Broxton DEF
3 Kristian Wells DEF
4 Tony Nikas DEF
5 Lucas Howarth DEF
6 Alex Galal MID
7 Stuart Widera MID
8 Jeremy Timpano MID
9 Grant Zdrilic MID
10 Wayne Augerinos ATT
11 Stan Amien ATT

12 Darren D'Arcy GK
13 Luke Nohra DEF
14 Noah Baveas MID
15 Stephen North MID
16 Carl Richter ATT

Can't wait to see Amien back in NT, and comeback of Galal. We'll see what does he represent. :)

Other players near to 1st team:
Newhill and Hrehoresin[both injured]
Jamie Garland, Karl Pilic[both lack passing/pm skills]
Chris King[don't have updated skills]
Vince Veart[I wanted to compare Galal and Baveas, so there wasn't place for Vince, though he's one of best players in NT]
Royce Brosque[Richter and Augerinos are little better than him]

3:1, how unlucky - there should be much higher result!

Today airborne crosses were quite weak, it seems something changed in the game engine, as defs were kicking the ball after airborne pass, and they were not accurate.

Anyway, 3:1 - the win matter. 15:2 in shots is a good result too.

The bad side is 28days for North...:(

Best notes in career:
Wells - 42
Howarth - 45
Galal - 53
Baveas - 52.

Widera gets up to his record, which was 54.

What ever happened to Karl Pilic playing?
2006-12-16 11:37:01
He had problems with kicking the ball forward :|

And he isn't a 1st team right now, as Howarth, Wells, and Nikas are same good, but younger - so I think that during season they will get better than him, so they will play in quals - so it's better to give extra experience to them. :)

Half our problems today arose from the attacking throw in options. The player throwing in had too far to throw to Timpano in most cases, thus by the time Timpano got the ball he was easily tackled. Apart from this I thought it was a pretty decent game and was pretty stunned when the opposition striker tackled 2 or 3 of our defenders to score.

Yes, but Venezuela used 5 defs, so there was no place on the wings. I've though so, that's why sometimes throw ins came to Widera/Baveas/Galal.

I thought that Venezuela can play 5 wide def, so I changed tactic from 2 wings to 1 wing.

I'm shocked with our shoots.

0/15 came in!
2 goals after dribbling keeper and running into the goal, one after penalty.
And there were 100% opportunities, one on one's, head shots...:|

ah ok fair enough. We had a lot of opportunities especially in that 2nd half. Overall though, it's still a 3 - 1 win :).
2006-12-16 19:08:01
Yes, that's the most important thing.

Next week it's 1st team against Turkiye, and then U21 with Island managed by Vilpu.
2006-12-16 20:17:54
Good work for Howarth then :).

Few informations.

Number one:
Tomorrow we play against Turkiye, that had few nice games last season, especially against England. Their strong side is defence.
Both sides will use 1st team, so it's going to be interesting.
I'll use a new tactic, but it won't be something totally new, only some tests of throw ins, and midfield movement.

Second information:
I'm going to Italy tomorrow, so I'll already talk about game against Island, next week.

We'll play U21 team, so it can be interesting...and this is combined with...

Third information:
Does anyone have contact with jtur3363, manager of Isla de Muerta?

NT is interested in few his players, especially Brad Moon, Scott Terminello and Andy Willis[!!!]. They have nice values at this age...though I can't contact jtur, as he doesn't respond :(.

I'll see few games of this players, as U21 lacks one MID, so I may try Terminello or Willis after watching him playing...
2006-12-22 22:55:52
added Byers to the system :P

Veart and Hrehoresin back in NT. Looks like best squad possible, except North who is injured...though it's hard too choose between trio North - Timpano - Zdrilic. :)

Going to be a nice game...at least I hope so. :)

Aah...Hrehoresin still injured...so there will be one suprise in forward ;p
