Asunto: State Cup - S13 - Registration

I was thinking about a way to stop teams from not gettng training and thought, if we have 6 teams or 5, then 5 plus users could make leagues of 6 teams, one from each state.

And as far as who plays who first (s in it not being all QLD vs NSW first round etc) I have a feeling that the draw is based on the order that people are accepted into the league, so as long as the plus user was to accept them in the correct order, we would still end up with all of one state playing all of the other state each week.

And the main reason for all of this is to not have to worry about organising the match to start with, and it would also make it easier on minkee as far as sending out a bunch of skmails.

It sounds like a good idea...
It would need a good communication to start it up properly...

I'd like to work out the draw soon but I aint got enough entries yet... I think I will have to seperate teams like they do for the world cup draw to end up with a balanced draw like we had last season...

that would get rid of the problem... which in my eyes was the only problem to be fair!

anyone knows how the draw is done for a friendly league?
Because if we adopt that format we might have to kiss goodbye to the State v State Fixtures, I cant see all the QLD play all the NSW on the same week under that format... it doesnt bother me as we could just add wins to draw a table...
any thoughts?

What if extra teams jsut fill up spots not already filled?

at present it looks like we need 8 teams

As far as the friendly leagues, my best guess is you play the teams in order that you accepted them in the first round. As far as working it out from there, then that will take a little bit of time to work out (supposing that I am correct to start with)

Im up for playing this again. C'mon states, Im open for bribes to play in your state.

I am based in Qld, but am a NSW at heart. I am a Penrith/NSW Blues supporter, so would be more than happy to "fill in" for my beloved state if you want me??
