Asunto: State Cup - S13 - Registration

I figured out we can switch the hosts at will and end up with 3 matching rounds at most but I still need 5 hosts I can rely on and using 3 from QLD and 2 from ACTAS I have a bunch of experienced users that log regularly nearly each day... if not each hours...

having 3 plus users in QLD is a bonus and not using NZ save time difference problem... I could always switch to WA if you insist cause Tribe and the Devil's are reliable in my opinion too :)

I took a decision so we could get on with it, I dont want to feel the need to justify them everytime...

haha yeah, I actually suggested ACTAS anyway, I was just being picky and making sure we were on the same wavelink in terms of the group draws :).

I have an issue. Somehow I am in a friendly league called "Oz League III". I didn't sign up to this but think I played in it 3-4 seasons ago. Perhaps it's been reactivated by Lowrider.

seems like Canberra is also in that friendly league. I think ACTAS are in a little bit of trouble right about now.

So that's 3 teams I'm aware of now unavailable due to this FL commencing which they didn't join, well they did but 5-7 seasons ago.

Canberra (ACTAS)
Trigger Lads (WA)

Interesting situation here not a nice thing to have happen, feel for all 3 of them atm as I'm sure it's not what they wanted.

this is getting more and more frustrating each week...

Let's sort it instead... so with 2 weeks to go we're looking for:
- 2 teams for ACTAS
- 1 team for WA

we'll sort hosts later because at the present time we're missing two of the wished 5.
I think we will have to forget about state vs state fixtures for the time being as well...
we'll work something out...

I think it's fair to say that at this critical point any team from any state will be accepted to fill the 3 free gaps.

Apologies mate. I had no idea a dormant friendly league could be restarted four seasons after it closed. I am sure this is also the case with the other guys.

we're looking for the following:
- 2 teams for ACTAS
- 1 team for WA

we're not regarding about your actual state at this stage anymore...

Haha don't worry about it, it's nothing major, it's not like theres 25 threads of this stuff ;).

Maybe as a last resort, it might be necessary looking for 3 overseas teams to fill in the friendly leagues?

The last resort if I was running the thing would probably be abandoning the FL system, release 2 of the 3 ACTAS teams, push 1 of those 3 to WA and run a 5 state comp like last season.

I'd imagine that's the absolute last resort but would hope that wouldn't have to happen.

Your option I would imagine wouldn't be the last resort as such but probably one of the last if we can't get those 3 teams we need. Rather frustrating as I know most of the 3 now out wanted to participate in this :(.

Plus there's Cloete who logs once a week and doesnt reply to his sk-mail...

I might have to pull Krayzee back to the QLD team to replace Cloete (Krayzee doesnt mind where he plays!), then
move one ACTAS team to VIC where Krayzee was, one to the WA camp and an other one to take my spot in the QLD's team...
If it's what it takes to keep 25 teams to play this I dont mind...

Frog's are busy with the Sokker International Cup, but there's teams from last year like DVS, Colt's... that could rejoin... although these were some of the guys that missed some training because of people going awol...

I'll give this a week to find 3 teams, pass this I'll do what I mentioned above

If it came to that, wouldn't mind shifting to VIC but at the same time if it makes WA more competitive by me shifting there instead, I'd do it too. Whatever works out best for the competition.

Hopefully we get 3 teams in though.
