Asunto: State Cup - S13 - Registration

If it came to that, wouldn't mind shifting to VIC but at the same time if it makes WA more competitive by me shifting there instead, I'd do it too. Whatever works out best for the competition.

Hopefully we get 3 teams in though.

Now that I am out of the Aus Cup... I will do my best to throw my first round of the SIC... then I will be free for the State Cup =) (Can run a FL if need be too)

seems like the aforementioned friendly league is no more (i checked the australia page)

so what now?

it still exists, matches are scheduled and will continue to be run, so we're in the same position as when it was shown in the Australia main page.

Are we still going to start this next week?

actually it starts week 8, so not this wednesday coming, the one after. It's beginning of week 7 atm. The cup final is next Wednesday and then hopefully if we can get 1 more team for WA the following week we'll be up and running, I assume that is what Minkee has planned.


Edit: Corrected the week to 7 as it's no longer week 6.

Everybody needs to remember to log in regularly and follow instructions 'carefully' to set up the Friendly Leagues correctly...

(This is the part I'm fearing the most.)

don't think it will matter at this stage unless Cloete accepts to host for Qld, or else one of the other teams in ACTAS/WA/QLD get plus. The only thing that will make it somewhat complex is the order in which you invite teams, so those not hosting shouldn't have any dramas but yeah Minkee will inform everyone of these things, when it gets closer I'm sure.

I havent done any com regarding the comp itself for two reasons so far:
- we're still missing 1 team
- I'm still waiting on Cloete to accept to host a league
so based on these two facts, I cant draw a fixture list nor know yet if we're gonna use the friendly league system yet as time is running out...

the cup is planned to start on week8 as it always has been (the week after the final of the Oz cup final)

It will get underway one way or another anyway :)
we got 4 days to get that missing team...
