Maras from myself as well. Was either him or Masi and I can't see Maras not scoring a truckload here.
Time to count up the points for this past round against El Salvador. Should be fun deciding a few decisions, especially the Croxall shot from well outside the box that was smothered very quickly by the midfielder, I'm thinking I'm gonna have to give it the default option of shot off target as it was impossible to tell from that far out.

A day for strikers, especially Maras. Tarka scored well considering he only played the 1st half, had he played the full game he may have challenged Maras for the highest score. GT Hewitt and O'Sullivan had strong games as well and showed it wasn't just strikers who could benefit from a weaker opposition. Wasn't a day for defenders or goalkeepers as they just didn't see enough of the ball. Standout was Cummins who was able to score a few largely from the number of tackles he had to make on that left defensive wing. Scores coming up shortly, ironically this will be the highest scoring round for a lot of people on the back of Maras' performance, even though most don't have too many players involved this week.

Others forced to nominate other captains or not nominating a captain ended up getting seriously hurt as no one came close to matching Maras.

Naphtali jumped up 3 more places, whilst a number of teams (Achmid, Minkee, Sriram, oowie) all moved up 2. Biggest fallers were vivski who fell 7 places and Tigermaster who fell 4 places. Next week we take on Andorra, could be another big scoring week for the strikers and ball magnet midfielders who can knock up a large tally of passes. Should be another interesting round, remember to get your captains in by kickoff.
Reminder it's a WCQ so a 1st string squad will be used and we will be trying to win by a large margin ;).

I got hurt a bit this week, but hoping for a late charge. Masi didn't score quite as well as I anticipated, but it was always going to be a roll of the dice.

was part of the rule I go through in competitions. Wherever possible those who finish 9-11 substitute for 12-14, or the next nearest. Hence why Tarka got subbed even though he was our best midfielder we had out there.
