Nothing too exciting yet again but here's a selection of though or interesting draw for the receiving teams... I'm surprised to see good D3 teams being handed AL pedigree so early but that's how it is with the new draw system...
for the rest we might have to wait Rd3.

what new draw system, it's the same draw since we introduced the bottom half of teams being randomly assigned to a top half team.

The seeding is still based on league position this season, the seeding changes next season ;).

that's what I mean, it's only the 2nd season we're using that draw so to me it's still new...

The news for the change was back at 2006-10-04, Almost exactly 2 years ago.

I wasnt playing at the time...
but I'm quite sure they changed it last season saying that the top half of the draw would be made from the ranking and the second hald from a random draw... before it was always the weakest playing the strongest or something like that...
does that ring a bell?

note: I've read the news and they're not even doint it today! arf... who cares it's friday :)

yes it does ring a bell and that change was the date I mentioned :s, which is what makes it confusing. Before that date, it was always weakest v strongest.

I'll take another look but I'm quite sure the date where the change took place was around october 2006, or the next closest season to it.

There are some very familiar names lining up for a pounding on Wed. Some interesting decisions to be made on the part of the favourite... to risk it or not to risk it?

great first week back into the normal training mode and I've already got 2 players down injured and missing training. Not impressed :(.

Won 10-0 in the end though and am comfortably through to the next round.

Another high scoring rout: 13-0. (from 28 shots. Vast improvement)

Got excellent scoring again.

I won 15-0. Put King up front for a bit of fun.. seemed to do a decent job up there :)

Injury to Hewitt is somewhat disappointing tho! =(

2-8 away victory for me. Really pleased to get 3 injuries. Bah! Damn cup!
