yeah I can say a similar thing about my defensive line in cup matches. Only scraped through with the win today wining 5:3 in ET. Your loss means I am now one of the top 4 seeded teams in the cup, so makes my life just that little bit easier towards the end of the Cup if I make it that far.

A bit harsh eventhough I don't contest the loss...
Somehow it comforts me I've adopted the right training plan this season...

Comprehensively done!! Combination of slightly underestimating opposition, playing all outfield trainees, & some very ordinary defending on my part, along with some freak goals.

Klee has done a Robert Green - let's hope that's all his blunders out of the way on one game!!

I make the 4th round for the first time but at the expense of 2 losses in the league.

Haven't even watched my match yet.

Also got $200k in gate receipts thanks to my opponents huge 42,000 capacity stadium with all undercover seats :) Didn't quite fill it though.

2-1..Another exit for me in the early rounds, close match..

Was pleased to push Tollygunge all the way finally going down 1-0.

yea my last goal by shabu was pure luck how it rebounded of players..
1st goal pure skill from my striker finally getting what i paid for and yea thats about it

Mate, my trainee defenders couldn't live with Sullivan....& I should have anticipated that.

That said, Klee should've dealt with that first goal given his skill set...& the fact it came from about 30 yards out.

Oh dear, I've drawn the 'gunge. A bit unlucky there.

Safely through with a 3-0 win against the side that beat Krayzees trainees in a penalty shootout last week. No injuries or cards either, now out to watch the Socceroos hopefully knock off Qatar in a delayed start due to rain.
