Not sure how I messed up my last calculation, but according to my new one with the definite updated figures, this went from unlikely to doable.

Need to win 2-0, 3-1, 4-1, 5-2, 6-3.

1, 2 and 3 all seem to be set in their positions at present

A nice little battle for 4th and 5th between PAOK and Stamford Rangers
Cisco is trying to pull away from the bot (which should hopefully happen with demotion of the bot in the Q match)
Tribe and the Mongrels are fighting it out in their respective div 2 leagues, to see who can make sure they are automatically through to the quarter finals of the cup (but both should promote)
10th and 11th have their positions sorted at present.

Then from 12th - 16th is the battle of the newcomers.
Cometer with some good selecting of opponents has been the fastest to raise his ranking points, holding on to 12th and putting himself in a good position to work his way up to top 8 with the bots/inactives getting knocked out.
Vivski is right on his tail.

Sx and Uber appear to have gone awol - we may even see them go bot at seasons end.

And finally in 16th is gulzzy. Would love to see him talk here more, and ask for more help in the forums, but he is still kicking, and doing his best with the small amount of knowledge a few of us have passed on via sk mail.

This is pretty close to end of season rankings. Finally cracked the 5000pt mark again after yo-yo-ing up and down just below it for quite a while. Some interesting changes from the list posted 2-3 seasons ago (I think)

Comparing to the above commentary I gave.
1, 2, 3 still pretty set, although Tribe was in 3rd until they decided to go on sabbatical again.
"4th and 5th, PAOK and Stamford" battle still rages on with Stamford getting the lead, but now it's a battle for 6th and 7th (with Tribe and Cisco leap-frogging them)
Aviation is out and replaced by a team actually ranked 17th and not on this list

Mongrels managed to get up to 8th and only just dropped to 9th in the latest update after going down to TMP

The "battle of the newcomers" has petered out a bit with DAU and Steel Fury not continuing their time in the game.
Cometer has moved his way up to 8th after a dominating season
TMP was literally in last in Australia when I posted the above rankings and has since moved his way up to the top 10, and by the next time I update, likely top 4 if not higher

Cool Runnings and Portland Juniors have continued their points increase and moved up a couple of ranks each.

New to the list are Chile FC, Ginger nuts and Phils - all of whom are very promising teams. Chile FC promotes to A-League for the first time, Ginger nuts went down in the Qualifier to Cisco, and Phils drew with ginger nuts in their latest matchup.

Well that was unexpected. Not sure how many years straight Chelsea held the #1 spot. Congrats on such a long run
