Also, the solution could be... promote! all your life in III isnt good :P

Well if your sponsorship money significantly falls from these being added into separate leagues it opens up the possibility that it's not only based on your league but on all the other leagues in the division, which is something I've considered for a while could be a possibility. Have to wait to Saturday to find out.
My initial comment was that I'm just hoping they dont throw more in my league...
I'm stable at 171k at the moment... we'll let you know saturday

Yeah I can understand. All the more motivation to get into II and you're in a good position so far to do just that.
My case is one thing, but they're a few of us in III getting hammered each time this happens...
For sure it's more motivation to get into II and that's definately something that needs to be done this season.
There are few teams left in III that won't get the chance to play a qualifier and will still suffer from this...
anyway... you know what I mean... :)

Just means you've had it too good for too long. :p Got to accept that until we retain some of these new users, div 3 will continue to be fed new teams. Bot teams artificially inflate the quality of a league, then they are replaced and it's neutralised.
One way to look at it.

I agree with you it's one way to look at it... my banker disagree though :)
the same debate is on the US forum at the moment... (was in the english and french one not so long ago)
it will be interesting to see if they (devs) draw any conclusions after a season or two as I'm not convinced newbies stay in the game if they're trashed week in week out especially if they don't land in a league where they get tips from other users...

The thing is, once all the dead wood is replaced with saplings, the next round will mean less of a hit if any. Just a bit of old bark lying around because there has been so little growth in recent times.

you dont need to worry about it anyways, unless you decide to relegate to div III that is :P
I can't understand why more aren't leaving HT for SK (or playing both)? The SK game engine craps all over HT...& I made it known in HT forums when I decided to leave.
That's along with the less friendly forums & illogical supporter moods/reactions (fanbase & matchday).
Note to self - must spread the 'SK' word in the world of TK!!

One reason I'm not more into this game (not that I'm all into HT either), is the amount of time needed to create tactics - especially if you do them for each match, as I'm sure our top managers do.
Maybe I'm missing out on a quick 'n easy way of doing things, but I know I've tried making new tactics, and just stop half way thinking, "meh!"
Different strokes for differents folks though.

Most tactics take me about 30min to actually make, less if I'm just tweaking an existing one. I don't think there's any real quick n easy bulletproof way of making them but I save a bit of time by making the centre position first, then copying and pasting into every one of the 32 squares and then modifying the positions from there based on where the ball is on the field.
As for reasons why HT might be played by more than SK it's as you said, time to put into each game. In hattrick it's a simple select squad and formation and that's it. Takes next to no time, guess it's similar in BT as well.
Then there's the added thing that people don't want to start a new game from scratch when they're already established in another games daily routine and when they are like that they always see that game better than anything else regardless of whether it is or isn't, simply because that's what they're use to.
At the end of the day people have different tastes as AragornofGondor rightly stated. Some prefer hard slog games where they feel they've got total control, others like games where it requires little to no effort (due to time constraints or low motivation to learn)
I tried hattrick for a bit but since I'd played Sokker I didn't really find hattrick that fascinating as it seemed "too simple" and didn't have the ability to watch the match.

i started with HT but i got bored of it quickly, and also due to the fact that i wasn't winning, whereas in sokker i was and that kinda motivated me to stay :P
