Asunto: S14 - The Division II Race

Todos
Since we hit the halfway point, I thought it would be good to make a little summary of the situation to see what is happening int the Division II promotion race this season.
There's obviously another 7 games to go and a lot will happen before week15's qualifiers.
Main point to watch:
- The top2 in DIII are scoring goals week in week out like there's no tomorrow, TT and Wicked's 11 are serious
automatic promotion's contenders.
- The 6 teams that follows these previous two are all on 7/7 still too but are locked in a Goal Difference battle
that should see the last game decide once again the fate of everyone.
- Metro FC's 1-0 loss at the week-end cost them a huge slide on the ladder, just showing how critical consistency
is once again.
- Besiktas has taken the lead in III.11 but is likely to stay in III next season considering the gap in the race and
their eventual opponents
- Bottom 3 of divII ladder appears to be secure already. CNF registered their first win vs FCM as did Canberra with the monster Krayzee Coconuts this sunday that might boost their morale for the 7 returns games. DVU's progress should see them scoring a deserved win soon.
- The bottom 6 is picking up the pace over the last 2 weeks and is scoring important points, expect huge changes there and a very tough qualifier if you're pitted against one of them later this season.

dream on!
well I speak for myself anyway...
It's more likely to get updated during the last 3 weeks only as a lot will happen in between...
this was just to give an overview at the halfway mark...
I might change my mind if bored :)

Main Facts this week:
- Not a lot of movement in III really. Balwyn SC gains two spots thanks to a big win. Wicked II finally conceided 1 goal but scored 11 as well...
- Little movement in II as the usual suspects are still the same ones as last week. Losers's win help them climbing 5 spots but the crushing loss of DAU see their GD being hurt badly.

The movement on the right table isn't correct. I think Moo's slipped 2 places, CNF and DAU gained 1, at least comparing that to last week :).
Can't say any div III team would be overjoyed at getting your lot either....altho' I'm working on joining you in quali' week!!
Playing a qualifying match is a good thing for strong div II teams... until you lose, that is. ;)

Round 12 Update:

It happened this sunday in III:
- Railriders's sunday 2-1 loss against Zoso gars is a massive blow to their promotion campaign. As a result they lost 6 spots on the ladder.
- The "big crunch" of III.5 turned to the advantage of Alpine Hotspur who beat Baldivis on their ground 3-2.
- The GD race for auto-promotion seems over as there is a huge 22 goal between 4th and 5th with only 2 rounds to go. The only realistic way to lose or gain a spot in the top 4 will be through point loss.
It happened this sunday in II:
- Canberra's slide on the ladder and the slight reshuffling of the top end of the ladder (physically the bottom) is due to the fact that the 7 teams of the DII ladder have actually won their games at the week-end! It would actually makes us wonder why did they wait that late to score points since they can do it altogether...
- Bottom 4 of the table is still undecided despite the look of it, Moo's-CNF-Utd Inter have chances to score points in the next two weeks.
