Seems like a good time to post up my selections for the quali games this weekend.
Thankfully I have saved myself from the qualifications this season but should be a good weekend.


Cumlionibus - Inter Milan FC - Both boys from the ACT, both mates gotta give this one to Cumlionibus
Stamford Rangers - Metro FC - Rangers just a bit too strong, 1 or 2 goals in it at most one feels
Dragons United - Besiktas J.K - Good luck to besiktas hopefully they can knock over Dragons
Melbourne Magpies - Newcastle Titan05 - I think the Maggies will have a bit too much for Newcastle
Real Galah - Railriders - My pick to make the upset this week. RG just havent looked themselves lately
Civilwar F.C - The Charismatic Ll... - will be nice to see TCL back up into DII
Canberra - Triggers Lads - Am thinking this task will be a bit too much for the Lads
DVS_Strikers - Teen Girl Squad - DVS i think will have the Measure on TGS, unless either Lewis or Pottier have an absolute blinder
Devil`s Angels Uni... - Jatt`s Team - would love to see DAU stay up for another season. Another close game but i think after their result last weekend DAU might just get home. Possibly in ET however.
Melbourne Victory FC - magyar reds - How much easier does it want to get for Melbourne Victory, they end up getting a brand new team in a qualifier, keeping them up in div II
Tupp United - Alpine Hotspur - should be a good game hopefully Tupp has the legs over Alpine
Moo`s 11 - Balwyn S.C. - another good game would like to see Balwyn move up

Now for the A-League games.
The Comets - Jyuukenbu F.C - Comets clear favourites against Jyuukenbu, Ando and his defensive line will need to be on the top of their game to stop the Comets strikers in Necevski and Bowen
Chelsea.F.C - FC de BEARS - Tough call on this game, possibly a close win to the Bears maybe even going to Pens, Chelsea I think just that little bit too strong for Bears on this occasion
Tollygunge - So long, thanks fo... - A name change, a couple of seasons down in DII, I can see a big charge from SLTFATF/PRT against the team that knocked them out of the A-League in the first place.

i am the owner of Jatt's Team...got a really hard quali game coming up...my best defender got Red carded last game so that won't help...but i do think DAU have a much stronger team....but my boys will give it their best shot! :)

glad to see you in the forums :). Qualis are never easy to play when coming from the lower division, although DAU haven't been tested coming from the other side where they're expected to win ;). They've only been up 1 season so anything is possible. Get your tactics right and with a little bit of fortune you may pull something out of the bag.

All I have to say is that i'm staying where I am, no questions asked =]

well it was good while it lasted...my team still has a while to go before it can get to Div II....one big thing that needs to improve is the Passing....and i think i let in 5 goals from..throw in's....not good..not good at all!! but i was happy with my 2 goals from 4 shots!...hahaha

Status quo in A-League and only 2 teams promoting to D2. There's a lesson for those left in D3... auto-promote! :D

Chelsea showed Bears that setting a tactic specifically for an opponent is worth about 3 goals.

I learnt that one last year... 9 times out of 10, a D3 is not prepared for quali games.

I think you'll find the ratio is actually 10 out of 12 :P

Well it was 1-1 at full time after they scored first. The goalkeeping makes a difference.

Only if you are worried about facing our #2 fast closing in on #1 goalkeeper next season, that is Carl Pottier. Hmm you'll probably also face Carl Storey and Greg Cunico next season too, all top draw NT players ;).
