Asunto: S14 - State Cup - PLEASE READ!

I should have remembered Tong's nice off-side trap from last time we played, but I didn't. Classy goal for the Tong made it 1-1 at the half. Eventually we used our width well enough to create some decent chances. 3-1 win, but the result could easily have been different.

I just drew with the finalist of the Australia Cup... fancy that eh?!
I'm yet to see the game but given I was 1-0 down I take the 1-1 draw with pleasure...

certainly looked like an interesting match from the report card. Haven't seen it yet though. I'll get to watching some of them when I'm finished fixing up a few things for the NT.

I watched it and found it enjoyable... I was expecting a loss by 5 or 6 goals before the game, I'm still surprised!

Agbell certainly didnt have the big boys at the back on the day but when I see the ratings of some of the guys on the pitch it leaves me with my tongue dropping on the floor!
I'm still surprised we only let one in to be fair... only 3 players on the pitch can be classed as 1st team members in my side so it's definately good for the confidence and the tactic side of it. Although the last 5mn were difficult I don't think the result was stolen.... I remember what I used against TBF in a 3-1 loss a few seasons back and I'm glad it worked today.
The team ratings went 43.2 vs 37.3 to Agbell so I'm glad I've helped the Qld team by bothering the main Tasmanian representant :)

TBF 3-5 TMP... another one!

Don't expect me to fight for any title here. Hopefully I will be able to field a weaker side next week if I can get some new young guns to play :)

Haven't watched the game but a red card after 2 minutes and then down to 9 players after 34 minutes. What little chance I had was gone within 2 minutes.

There was only three first-teamers on the pitch. Two who needed game time, and my sole goalkeeper. With less than ten minutes to go I brought on three first-teamers as I had conditional subs pending a drawn or losing match.

Not fussed with the result to be honest. Training is god.

anyway, a game to forget for you and one to remember for me...

it's good for the banter and the competition, that's how I see it mainly :)
