Just did some maths and in order for ACT to have a chance of winning (if it's going by averages, VIC need to lose all 3 games) and have ACT win a few of the higher ranked points.
No other side has a chance to claim the title (if it's going by averages).

jeez just cause your strikers can't finish for crap means you should take it out on my players >:(
3 freaking injuries, thankfully not too long and should be SI when they're needed....
some great timing for ellem to get suspended and his replacements to get injured....

TGS have become a grudge team for me....can't stand managers putting out their 1st XI for friendlies where the size of the squad is clearly there for 2 teams.
I've asked the question as to why...& await the answer (if it's forthcoming)....gotta wonder what the training program is like?
Glad these teams are down with me fighting for the dregs...looks like I have another team next week with the same principles as my previous opponent....ho hum.

Yeah I noticed that, sorry mate but like you said not for too long - longest was for 13 days??
Hopefully with striker training next year they will improve their finishing but it was frustrating to watch.

I scored 2 goals from almost half way. Very funny to watch.
Im pretty sure TGS are training keepers... Thats why they would be playing their first squad?
TGS are training goalkeepers, both capped for the NT. Obviously they're going to play 1st XI with the rest of their side. For example I play over half my 1st XI in friendlies because I'm only training 6 players currently.
Unless you're training pace and want to train 22 players, or you're trying to protect your 1st XI from injuries it's almost pointless training more than is beneficial, given you'll likely lose the match, ranking points, sponsorship money and supporter mood.

I'm currently training striker...
although the ones that play with the ATT order get 100% of the training the MID get 50%.
It really depends what you're training.
Currently I have 27 players and I'm going to hit the market hard on week0 when everybody is full of dosh :)

Who said it's even that high. I know that's what people have said but I seriously doubt that's the case and I've had a number of seasons training striker now. It's true MID's receive some training in striker, but I don't think it's as great as 50%. Just like how people say its 95% for league and 90% for friendly, that's been taken as fact even though it was only ever a guess and isn't fact.
Although coming back to what you're saying, yeah you can train more than just the primary orders but I still feel the fact that it's not the primary position being trained you can get more benefits by winning the friendly with other 1st XI players then to fork out money on the TL for other players and then not give them primary position training. Each to their own though :).

I think minkee is talking about training striker with the MID training setting, could be wrong though.
As far as I'm aware, training is still exactly the same for striking regardless of the order to train it to. ATT's get X%, MID's get Y% etc regardless of what the training order is.
Invitation sent to Roar for the 3rd place playoff
So why is TGS playing the same keeper in both weekly games if they're training GK? I thought you'd need to play a different GK in each game so they both get trained?

experienced international users... I got that from one of the several newbie forum I read each week.
There's two ways of making money, ticket income and selling players... when you're a small team and you've got a bit of time on your hand day trading is good and profitable. buying a player, having him popping once or twice can make a big difference on a price. I don't know what is the approach for a more established team like yourself but for me I'm playing catch-up with the big fishes still..
Anyway back to the SC.
Sk-mail have been sent to everybody except the 4 teams that have already organised their bout (Comets, Achmids, Larikan and Krayzee) and also Uber.

Ah ok, yeah I can see where you're coming from now. Yeah that probably works for lower divisions but at higher divisions a couple of extra 100k won't necessarily achieve much unless you're a very active day trader. Pace is another thing again though because it trains everyone who plays for full value.
