na will use the averages as it was suggested a while ago by Achmid. I havent taken the time to look for an alternative so I won't suprise everybody with a formula that crowns Qld!

the formula that crowns Qld is one where you sum up all your score from the entire state then multiply that by the number of teams the state has :p. Gives QLD a double advantage for having the most teams :p.

That's why I wanted to take the best 3 scores of each states initially, it gets rid of the junk (like my team for eg!)...
Next season I think I'll take into account the teams's rating to level the field...

yeah average favours those slightly with less teams, so VIC are pretty much a shoe in ;).

Yeah but rating can be manipulated too, I'd just play a 2nd string goalkeeper and it would drop my ratings by 2-3 comfortably ;).

Congratulations to vivski for the State Cup victory and that pretty much seals up the State Cup for the overall state too. Think the VIC's will take home the trophy, unless something miraculous happens.

Well done everyone for making this edition a very succesful one with only 3 scrapped games over the 84 games played! I hope everyone enjoyed it... we'll be back next season!

Had CL won yesterday we would have taken it as it turned out.

It will be on next season, I think we've got a good format with 24 teams and the friendly leagues.
It would be pushing it to squeeze another 8 teams in but we'll see...

I've started updating the association with this year's results. I'll be digging the 1st edition's one soon and get some artist to draw a logo for it too. Feel free to join in or just have a browse...

Woohoo, you little beauty! Thanks Minkee. It means a lot to me to see my team prevail and help the Vics lift the cup.
I hope we can get some better representation from Victoria and Tassie next season. It would be great to see 32 teams.

Well done Minkee, definitely struck on a good format this season. Very little fuss, well managed and we got to play a variety of teams, including some of the big names.

Good idea with the association. Bit more of a permanent archive than the friendly leagues. Might want to record the tables from the group stage as well if you're bored. :P
