Asunto: National Team U21

I will follow him, but actually, because of his too low pace, he is'nt ready to play for us.

Team is ready for Sénégal.We play our first U20 match in this season, to prepare the next generation for WCQ.

After we losed with Senegal U21 with a very lucky long distance goal of them(0-1), this time our youngs wins with same score against Russia U21.
The russians was better valued team, with 6 marks difference.The goal was scored by actual U21 goaltopscrorer, Tim Lopez.Unfortunatelly he is 21 y.o. and don't could help our team on next WCQ.
We used U20 (+2-3 U21 players) team on both matches.

0-1 with England U20.It was another game, when we could it make more if we had some better strikers.

We like or not(because we have actually a weak next generation), we need to use more and more the U20 players to be much better before next WCQ official season.So, this time we will use again totally U20 vs. Thailand and then just on 3 matches we will see our U21 players:with Hungary and Finland(next two weaks) and more after with Uruguay, all this teams are very tighs for us actually.The rest of friendlys we need to play with U20 generation, need to sacrifice some rankings for a new successfull WCQ season, that i hope to be the next one.
I trust on our youngs and his potential and i need a refresh of skills for all U21 players, specially for U20.Please update them all after this week's training.THX.

The young team is ready for Thailand, presented on The Sokkeroos forum.

So, first time in this season we played totally U20 match vs.6U21 + 4U20 players used by opponent and we wins with 1-0.
Just 45 mark for our youngers!
Still we score very difficult, but lucky for us, we achieve less number of goals to(0-1/match), because of our good defending work.
First goal for our 18yo strker, Brooks.I hope to be more on the future.

Next week we meet the strong Hungary, WC bronze medalist last season, a match between the past and new U21 managers of that country, very difficult for us.So we need back our 21yo players, but still we will use some youngers to.Sorry for Santalab, who got a red card today at last minute of match, he was one who could-it play for sure from our U20 part of squad.

Youngs are ready to Hungary U21, one of the best teams of world, the 7-th in World Rankings.
We play with mixed U20/U21 team, that is presented now on The Sokkeroos forum.

8 marks difference between our youngs and huns today, our game had'nt enough to combat this soccer machine, helped today by two best strikers that they have:Náray and Huber.
3-0 for opponent, sorry, we are not enough strong for such a team!
Next week we play another difficult friendly with Finland.
They promissed us U19, so will be totally other match, i hope.

PS:Finally a great news:Pavoniana, past aussi and actual belge U21 coach wins the WORLD CUP today with Belgium U21!Great result for a great manager!

Today we played a friendly with U20 vs. Finland U19 and makes a draw(1-1).I tryed some new players and some new positions and even we had same level opponent, we had more scoring situations and 2 shots on post(Cowman and Brooks).
I likes Cowman and Wells as offensive MID position, Elliott is better from a match to another, also Santalab and Gilmore.
We'll continue to test our youngers whole this season, to train them and prepare them better for WCQ.
Thanks for 21yo player holders to, some of them i hope, will go to first NT when will be olders.
Next week we meet another stronger team:Uruguay, i hope they will use also U20 with us.
Please play our youngs whole matches to be trained better.

4-0 today for Uruguay(match between U20 teams both), 8 marks difference, we had'nt nothing to do with our still too slow strikers and defs.
Sorry, but this generation is'nt too great.

Today i sorted out the 21 yo players from our squad and i called some new youngs to squad aswel.
Tomorrow we meet the U20 team of Latvia.Same level like us.We try to get this.

3-0 for Latvia with us.We're too slow, i explained many times the importance of pace trainings for young players, they was'nt much better than us, but much more fast and this makes more posession and opportunities for them, than we had.
Please, now, at end of saison and beginning of another train them pace, we need more.

No worries Zsolt, I have the same problems at NT senior level. I don`t have one mid from my best eleven who is at maximum level or even close to that.

But the future is coming from my team, mate, so is very important to have a honest young team to make yours better in the time.And you have a whole country to select, i just try with not too high quality young players, except some, like Cowman, Elliott or Santalab.
We have a lot of 1 skill players, there will be difficult this time the WCQ season with them:(

What I meant is that the same problems are at my senior level even though I have a larger scale from where I pick my players. So, this is quite a general problem for the Aussie national teams, U21 and NT.
