Chile drawing with China is a positive for us, but there's still a long way to go in this season

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to do any research on our opponent or set up a tactic (emergency surgery on my cat this week which has taken up all my time).

Shame we couldn't hold on for a draw despite very even stats (was really hoping we weren't playing at home)

No need to feel bad about it. Very close to surprise us again.
Peru has a really strong team, I've seen some of their players.
Respect that you stood up to them and made such an even game out of it.

Depends. We have three options here:
1) Simply got sacked before the team was deleted.
2) Didn't have any caps and got deleted with the team.

It's ok. Just noticed it whilst tracking another player & thought it strange as he might have been U21 sub player at the time.

Yeah there's definitely a number of reasons he could have gone (or could have been prevented from it).

Unfortunately despite multiple efforts, those were the most recent stats I ever received from him

Haven't watched the game, but overall a pretty good result.

Should have been 2-1 because we had an own goal, but given we gave up 10 rating points, even the 3-1 result was good.

Very nice score against a lot higher rated team. Croatians have been paying tremendous sums for their own youths or potential NT players lately and investing in the future. It will be one of the strongest nations in sk very soon.

I tried something defensively I wouldn't normally do (because it's generally a bad idea), and, it was a bad idea :D

Borg had an absolute blinder for the time he was playing, and Simpson lets the first shot he has against himself in :'(

Anyway was a good game, the China front 3 (strikers and winger) are all quite trained up in Pace/Tech based on how they played today.

And with only 6 spots separating us and them, it is no wonder we drew

We have a couple of friendlies still left for the season and was wondering if there were any novelty type matches people would like to see played.

Obviously it would depend on the opposition, but I am open to suggestions if there is anything anyone wants to see.
