Didn't get a chance to have a bit of a brag this week, but 5-1 over Jamaica was a great result.

Finally the strikers had a golden day, and hit the back of the net with ease.

Trajcevski proved his position as leader of the team (especially with Van Gisbergan on the sidelines), and the one goal he didn't score was after a shot of his rebounded off their keeper, to just in front of the goal line, for Mairou to tap in,

Well done on a great result. This season will be more about training for me. Hopefully can develop some newbies for U21 setup.

We are going to play the 4th edition of our beloved Asian Cup in the youth category where we will be looking for a new champion country, we do not want you to be left out and we will fight together until the final.

Some of the Candidates can ensure the participation of the country in the tournament, after the elections we will contact the winner to confirm the participation.

Good result against Indonesia last night. They rated higher than us, but tactically we were able to outplay, outpossess and outscore them, despite Trajcevski getting SI in the first 20min :@

This week we played Lietuva U21, who are ranked 35th and only just missed out on Qualifying for the WC finals despite having both Polska and Eesti in their group.
We had a very close game losing 3:2 despite being ranked 60th and giving up 6pts in rating difference to them, and unfortunately let in all our goals in during the last 35min when our stamina started to deteriorate.

Overall a good result and so very close to pulling off a big upset.

Just remember to throw in the odd Stamina training week to make them useful for the NT. Stephenson, who was our best defender last season, only ever got 20-30min game time due to his tragic/hopeless stamina.

As I haven't had much of a chance to write up anything about previous results.
Last week we dominated out opposition despite rating 3pts less than them, winning 3-1.

The week prior we drew with Greece who are ranked 7 spots less than us, but who have a stronger team than us. We did double them in shots and almost twice as much time was spent in their half.

Thanks for everyone's commitment to the Australian teams, we are still getting great results despite often giving up the advantage in terms of ratings to the other teams.

so am a couple of weeks late, and my squad isn't settled yet, but lets continue the stats

So where are we now?

Users: 12 --> 13 --> 17 --> 20 -->20 --> 25
Rank: 50 --> 54 --> 52 --> 60 --> 62 --> 60
Rank points: 1587.30 --> 1554.23 --> 1598.71 -->1344.67 --> 1196.70 --> 1271.27
Number of players: 38 --> 40 --> 40 --> 40 --> 40 --> 40
Average form: excellent --> excellent --> very good --> excellent --> Formidable --> Outstanding
Average age: 19.9 --> 19.9 --> 19.5 --> 19.5 --> 19.3 --> 19.5
Average value: 518 811 AU$ --> 373 570 AU$ --> 338 350 AU$ --> 352 310 AU$ --> 352 360 AU$ --> 497 530 AU$
Total value: 19 714 800 AU$ --> 14 942 800 AU$ --> 13 534 000 AU$ --> 14 092 400 AU$ --> 14 094 400 AU$ --> 19 901 200 AU$

So whilst I am a few weeks late, it is very interesting what we are seeing above.
In the last season, we have managed to turn things around a bit and increase the ranking points, although the actual rank is roughly the same. This is good because it means we have probably hit a more appropriate rank for the players we have and tactics used. However we are still getting a lot of upsets, with a lot of lower ranked teams having a higher ranking than us, so I still think we are punching above our weight.

Our average age is a little higher which may contribute to our change in value (and our average form is also a little higher), however we haven't had an average value this high since the first season I coached. Making it more intriguing is we don't have the likes of Newton/Fihaki/Farmer with their massive Divine Keeper skill values, artificially raising those numbers. What this tells me is our training within the country is going very well for a more balanced team across the park.

I'd like to thank everyone who is out there training Australian players, because it is really showing with the comparison we have compared to previous seasons.

I am a bit late with this post, but to keep things consistent.

we say farewell to our current U21 team. Although not exhaustive, these are the players mostly used, who made this season what it was

GK - Borg - played great all season, and will continue this coming one
DEF - Martinovic - a Serious beast. Lead the defensive line as a 19yo, 20yo and will be continuing as a 21yo this season
DEF - Fernando - trained by one of our newer teams, and he did not disappoint
DEF - Upton - dominated that DM role along with stephenson and will continue to this coming season
DEF - Inglis -Had a great final year, and will be looking to be trained to go on to seniors in the future
DEF - Stephenson - didn't play as much as I would have liked, great skills, form improved, but stamina was shocking
MID - Brozque - saved thanks to the save a player thread, and will be leading the midfield this season
MID - Worthy - enjoyed his time as Australias 3rd best U21 MID, and being one of the few not trained at the illustrious chelsea FC academy
MID - Van Gisbergen - extremely sad to see him go. One of our best players to have played U21s in recent memory
ATT - Mairou - another saved and trained by cometer. Shared this role with Casserley
ATT - Trajcevski - still going strong, and at the end of the U20s, is better than any previous U21 striker in the past decade
--------------------------------
GK - Simspson - with Borg performing so good, did not get much time on the pitch to show his skills
ATT - Casserley - shared the 2nd striker role with Mairou. Still young so no surprise his conversion rate was down
DEF - Maurovski - bench players were rotated a lot, but whill be a 1st teamer next season
DEF - Aguis - Probably should have been listed above in the starters as he always started but can't be bothered moving
MID - Hassell - always performed well when called upon. Not a starter but a fantastic talent had him slowly catching up

Now some rushed underage groups.
If your player isn't selected here, it doesn't mean they won't make it. I may have overlooked, they may have the same skills and I just had to pick one, or form may get them, so keep training

These are approx 14man teams. Just to see changes, I have highlighted players who have earned themselves a spot in the underage teams for the first time this season in Bold

And as a little more interesting trivia.

Of the 42 players I have listed in the U21 NT (+2 I'd like to put in there right now but aren't due to the U21 Mini World cup) --> 21 are currently being trained by Australian Managers, 3 were heavily trained by Aussie managers prior to being sold, and 18 are being trained overseas.

This is a fantastic effort, and shows just how well we are working together to make sure the NT is moving forward.

I'm not sure what you mean by complete the list. These are the best players based on skills either seen in the past or sent by their managers. There are obviously a lot more players in the database, and a couple of high value players who I don't yet know the skills of.
