Asunto: National Team U21
Got a win against Scotland with a new tactic designed for them which was nice.
Due to everything happening, my time for the NT is greatly reduced but will continue to try my best to get good performances for all the work everyone has put in

I told you since the beggining. This group is cery very difficult, there are many non expected results.
You are doing a great work, australia plays very nice

Decided to play a different sort of tactic today with 3 strikers against a higher ranked and higher rated team. And it proved successful! And that was with one debutante and 3x19yos.
4-1 win over a 3rd pot team (we are pot 4).

Unpredictable group. Thailand beating Norway previous game a bigger surprise.
also on previous game, UAE stared beating Polska, then Polska scored and it was only until min 69 that Polska was able to score the second one, stamina was clearly an advantange for 1-4 result
So due to me having big exams coming up, I won't be able to spend the time on the U21 NT team that is required to win this week, so I will be doing something different instead.
Due to this, to try and make it a little more interesting for everyone else, I will play one player, at choice, of anyone who reads this thread in the final WCQ match this Friday.
Depending on the players selected will depend on the tactic I use, and if there are any spots left over, I will top them up with either players I think we can't do without, or possibly some U19 or U20 stars.
To nominate a player, just send me an sk mail saying who you would like to see play.
I am unsure whether I will be free or "well hydrated" for the following weeks game (as I will have had my last exam, hopefully ever, at uni - still have specialty exams to go in the future - so will likely be contributing to a very sore head the following day). If anyone has a suggestion as to what I should do for that game, that is pretty easy to set up, I am open to suggestions, keeping in mind I won't be scouting of selecting based on form etc.

Good luck with the exams mate. Hope everything goes well and it will be your final one ever.
Just 2 more days to submit who you would like to see represent aus U21 NT this week.
The response to this hasn't been quite as I had expected but that's ok!
I've decided to play a team of people who haven't represented much/at all, all from the Australian training base.
Fantum will be providing the defensive line + Fuller (RIP as Norge would have given our 1st XI def line problems), whilst myself and chelsea make up the midfield.
The front will see a mix of representation from within Australia, but staying away from the 5 U20 musketeers who will see all the game time next season (these 5 players all have basically the same number of skill points for strikers, just of varying varieties to match the tactic I choose to use).
Hopefully the loss isn't too bad, but it will be good to see how these players play moving forward.
Unfortunately with our loss to UAE despite winning the shot count 13-2, it killed our hope of making it through to the next stage of the tournament, as this would have been a winner takes all match with Norge today

I must say, I'm pretty happy with just a 2-0 loss given the amount of quality we gave up by playing the team played, and this is on top of losing our only 1st teamer I put in.... Our GK, in the 30th minute.
We didn't let in any goals until 2/3 of the way through the game when our substitute goalies would have been tiring.
Unfortunately the injury meant Cross didn't get a chance to come on to the pitch as planned.
Once again, awesome work with training up players for the NT, the u21s have been looking great and really starting to get some depth these days. I will continue to try and put on some games that allows you to see your players in action, especially those who are trained and just miss out due to being 1st reserve or out of form. I know prior to being an NT coach, I used to love seeing my favourite players in action from my team
