I suggest keep training Zilly in striker skills and forget stamina this late in the game.
All 4 strikers are in good form and all pretty similar in skills too.

After latest changes it doesn't make sense to train stamina to anyone

Young players pop in stamina on their own every 7-8 weeks, that's ~3 pops every 2 seasons

Mostly agree but there may be times when a week or two stamina may prove beneficial if you’re not looking only at training effectiveness. I gave stamina recently to a midfielder to help our u21 side out during the World Cup for example. Sure not worth it from a min-max scenario but sometimes there are other things to appreciate that generate value.

sure, in some cases it might be useful to train it, but in general it's better to avoid it if possible, it will improve to max by itself

Zillman has poor (3) stamina, with Oliveira even worse (1). If consensus here is to stick with tech/str/pace, I'm fine to do that as they aren't playing full 1st team games anyway....& are a few seasons from being starters.

Yeah keep going with the main skills. Both borkos and cometer are correct, so I'll contact people on a case by case basis if I need a player to get some extra stam training.

Wow the Asian Cup has moved fast.
We have now played the 3 group matches.
Australia with a final round loss, scrape through to the Quarters as the 7th seed (2nd best 2nd place team)

Thanks for you patience all, the updates are here...

And with great pleasure, I present to you the teams going through to the Quarter Finals. Ordered in seed.

1. Nippon
2. India
3. Rossiya
4. Zhonghou
5. Daehan Minguk
-------
6. Malaysia
7. Australia
8. aa-Sa'udiyya

Which leaves us with the following matches

I) Nippon vs aa-Sa'udiyya
II) India vs Australia
III) Rossiya vs Malaysia
IV) Zhonghuo vs Daehan Minguk

HOME teams (those on the left of the matches), please send your invite to the away team in CUP mode. If any are played in League mode, and there is a draw, the AWAY team will win.
AWAY teams, please do not send an invite. Wait for the home team to send.

Finals Draw

Final Group Stage Table

First up, we play India.
India were unbeaten in their group and didn't just win, but dominated their opposition.
This will be a tough one for a quarter final, but scraping through as a 2nd place team, can't expect anything different.

Should we win this, it will set up a Group D rematch against Rossiya, for us to get our revenge, or we will play Malaysia, the team we beat in Asian Cup 5 Final to bring home the Cup

Tonight was a successful night for both NTs with the Seniors scoring a draw against a much stronger team and our Youths coming home with a convincing win against a previously undefeated India in the Asian Cup quarterfinals.

This sets up a group rematch against Russia who are also currently undefeated, and probably the favourite to win the tournament from now (given their high rank and already beating us this season).

Either way it should be a cracker of a semi final. Let's hope we don't cop any more injuries after losing one of our dynamic duo in the mids, and out back up keeper.

Keep the training going strong all, let's try and make this back to back Asian Cups

Good stuff. Based on ratings, Russia looks gettable.

Huge win today against a very strong Rossiya.

We managed to turn around out Group stage drubbing we received from them, to be the better team in what was a very close match.
0:0 at the end of normal time and Australia pulled out some crucial substitutions late in regular time to make sure we went in to extra time with fresh legs.

Both teams defended phenomenally during extra time, with Mitchell's boot being the difference between the two sides.

We move in to the Grand Final for the 3rd Asian Cup in a row, looking to go back to back against Nippon.

Nippon have dominated their matches all tournament, winning every single game and not losing a single point. They also did away with the semi final rival 4:1.

Should be a great match coming up either way, with both teams deserving of the title

Both Nippon and Australia dominated on for and against in the group stage. Australia going 16-1 (the 1 being our loss), and Nippon going 16-2 in a high scoring affair against Misr.

Come the finals, Nippon has won 1:0 against Saudi Arabia, and 4:1 against Daehan Minguk
Australia has won 2:1 vs India and 1:0 vs Russia.
