Generally if players are within 3 points of someone else, their skills are pretty close.
I don't use the points to select players who play, but generally those with higher points will be the better players....in general

There are a couple of standouts there. Ponting and Waite look a bit special. And just enough depth by the looks of it to field a solid team this season.

So our goal of getting 2nd basket has happened and now we find ourselves in with a great chance of moving on to the group stage of the world cup.
However it isn't going to be easy, this was just the first step.
Our group is as follows
Taking a look at the ratings of the above groups over the past 2 weeks since the age update, this is what we are dealing with ratings wise (there's no guarantee they were using their best teams either)
Argentina - 56.2, 56.1
Australia - 49.8, 49.8
Senegal - 49.4, 48.1
Indonesia - 47.4, 47.9
Latvija - No matches
Belarus - 38.9
As we can see, 2nd, 3rd and 4th pots are all very similar in ratings, meaning this will still be a very tough ask to go through in 2nd
If anyone has any players they would like assessed or advice on training, please don't hesitate to contact me

So after week 2 of the WCQ, we managed to get the win over Lavija.
I actually wanted to change tactic midway but must have messed up the orders.
Argentina drew with Senegal which is annoying. Looks like both Sengal and Australia were leading Argentina in to the 80th minute before Argentina managed to get the equaliser. Really Argentina probably should have lost both matches which would put Senegal and ourselves at good chance of qualifying rather than being a one team or the other situation.

In a tournament we have a high chance of finishing equal points in 2nd/3rd, that result really hurts us

I’ll say. Similar shots ratio for Senegal v Belorussia but 5 goal diff’ with results.
Senegal’s shooting rating = VG maybe tipped it? Certainly impacts current GD. :(
