Yep, tragic luck. It was a great tactic by cometer. Things just didn't go our way... like... REALLY didn't go our way!

Barnes was the key loss there. In the end despite it being unlucky it came down to keeper v keeper. Swedens keeper won them the game in the end along with our strikers inability to put a ball between the posts.

i reckon griffiths did a good job of doing what was expected of him - getting the ball and run as far as you can. even got 3 yellows against him! i guess the nickname of ronaldo fits quite well eh? ;)

Exactly! Griffiths did precisely what was asked of him. Dominate and open up the wing. After he had the wingback sent-off, we ended up with massive amounts of space for he and Barnes/Kalac to work in.

Several players played at their maximum level today.

Happy with how we used the players. Happy with the result. :)

Woot! My very first home grown NT player had his first game!

Job done again tonight. We've got a good generation going here, but a little short on for U20.

Over the next few weeks we'll be trying to build the stocks for next season. There are some very promising players but not a lot of depth.

This week is the important game.
