I was aware some months back as I know him outside the game. Didn't make mention of it as at that stage I was pretty inactive myself. Just a part of the game, eventually life gets in the way as well as finding interest in other things.

Always a shame to lose historic managers. TM took the control of our U21 side in the first few seasons and got our U21 side to be ranked #1 in the world, a feat I doubt we'll ever see again. Had also some experience managing both the Australian and Malaysian NT's.

By far one of my strongest rivalries (alongside Achmid, naphtali, TerjeH and vivski), particularly in the early years and was a consistent menace in the A League.

I'm playing Battrick now and talked to a guy who has a bunch of friends keen to play. They are getting an error message when trying to sign up. Anyone know about that? How can I fix?

Minkee has left the game. No goodbye, no one noticed. Another sad day as an old hand leaves. Best finish of 3rd in the Cup and A-League. Ex U21 NT manager. Long time moderator. Da Minkees were also Steel Fury's first big rivalry back in III.12 and we had 3 or 4 active managers in a III division! Those were the days. He taught me a lot when I first started.

This place is going to hell. Even the forums are going quiet.

Perhaps SK needs to start thinking radically and combine smaller countries (not NAT teams). A combined Australia and NZ A-League makes sense to me. I wonder if this has been considered?

Oowie has left the game with no goodbye now. So sad. Was one of the biggest supporters of Australian U21's in training many of our gun strikers for that team. Was our greatest striker trainer for many, many years. Barnes, Huxley and Hirons sitting on his team dormant now :( Was always fearsome to play against due to have to defend against 3 epic strikers.

So many managers gone. So little competition. I'm feeling myself getting bored now. Probably going to gut my team at the end of season to try and regain some interest with a rebuild.

Is very sad if people who cares about Australia U21 gone.

Maybe we can find a way to level the playing field a bit in A-League and generate some more interest.
Shame to lose oowie. As you said, best striker trainer in the land.

I'm likely to sell up my midfield at end of season and go to training pace for a few seasons with youngsters. That will even the playing field for the rest, but not vivski :)

This is how I am going to keep myself interested next season. Concentrating on training the next Australian midfield.
