Asunto: S15 - The Australia Cup

I had to read your spill to see what happened in the game. I just finished my two day drive up to north QLD with the only check being to make sure i set my firsts as my lineup against you. I obviously didn't make a tactic for this game but that was more because i wanted to see the effect of the tactic i think i selected against one of the best teams in aus. Congrats on the win mate, and good luck with going on to win the cup. I can get back to my relaxing season in II.04 now

well, bugger me, I had no idea....i haven't been able to log in since Sunday night (UK night) as my pc has been hit with major virus...still working on it as haven't been able to watch.
first time i've got this far.

So fantum... want to play our reserve sides in the league game this weekend, to rest up our guys for the cup match? :P

He will get a few injuries this time. I've bribed their physio ;)

Btw... delighted to see our division holding 3 places in the cup :) Shows that our league is a real challenge even if it is a II.

Hmm, after this round, there will still be at least one divII.01 team left :P

Joe Satriani (Salgaocar) logged in on Tuesday for the first time in about 6 weeks. Not quite a bot, at least not yet.

would be expecting Tribe,Tong,Tollygunge and SLTFATF all to win their matches if they try to. Tollygunge have obviously despite their absence been training striking, their marks of Aloisi and Vejvoda have gone through the roof and the shots they have been making in recent weeks suggests the same.

I'm going to say Tribe,Roar,Cumlionibus and SLTFATF for the wins, but there should be a couple of good matches none the less

Tong v Roar and TG v Cumlionibus should be the pick of the matches. Tribe and Fishes should cruise through easily, based on previous league game performances; unless they don't play their complete 1st XI.

Tribe would still beat Salgaocar with their complete 2nd's imo.

might depend on whether I end up with 9 men in my cup match!! have to outbid Terje for ref favours after our last clash...LOL.

my reserves would be a lot weaker than yours as looks like you're down to 17 players?....whereas my reserves would be a total 2nd XI. Happy to talk about maybe playing our best 6 outside our first XI, plus 5 first teamers....with bench open to whoever we like??

I only have 12 quality players - and at the moment, I've been choosing performance in the cup over training. Anyway, if I did have my normal training schedule, all 10 players in my first XI (bar the keeper) would be receiving tech training. So I don't really have a second team. I'm lucky this season, because I haven't received too many injuries.

So expect a pretty strong team from me, mostly 1st teamers ;)

i'll be honest here, my activity in sokker has been really down this season. don't see myself buying plus again any time soon.

looked at the report and noticed my starting central defender got injured and replaced with my backup keeper with GK orders after 27 mins.

i need to buy alot of new players, my team is barely a-league level anymore and i'm training about 2 playes atm because i don't have the time to be up late to buy decent players. i'm sure i'll get back into it properly at some stage.
