i say thats the best so far =]

1) survive II.01
2) get beyond 4th week of the cup
3) win more friendlies to boost ranking & keep supporter mood
4) sell Cain (& Pop) to fund a holding mf & striker/mf.

Survive in the AL,
Ensure I dont play my 2nds in the AL again!
Get a new Striker/Middie

you'll fail that 2nd objective the next time you play Tribe :p. Particularly as it could be the case you need to rest 1st XI players in case of a quali the next week ;).

1) Keep my streak of 2 "bronze or better" finishes in A-League going.
2) Keep my streak of 4 "bronze or better" finishes in the cup going.
3) Stop buying clones of trainees I already have.
-> this means actually getting another defensive-mid instead of yet another central/offensive-mid
4) Set up my training so it is easy to do while I am holidaying for 6-8 weeks in May-Jun-Jul
5) Buy and set up a laptop "for my wife" for during point 4)

Because now I'm top 50!

Get average ratings in the top 32 of div 3.
Dream Team is dead but I'm pretty sure I'm rating top 32 from what I've seen of other division in III

Get closer to a top 50 ranking.
Tonight I've made top 50 for the first time. I know most people don't care about rankings, but its been a big aim of mine this season. I think I have probably gone up 30 places this season

Get a GD that could get me auto promoted.
I've definately got that now. My GD is probably double what it was last season. My players have improved a lot and probably more importantly I've learnt some good tactical lessons, especially on how to beat weaker teams.

Give CNF a scare.
Mission accomplished. It will be interesting to see who scares who in 3 weeks.

SUMMARY:
Great season so far. Can all be ruined by a cr@ppy game in week 14. It should be exciting finish to the season! I really want to play II.

- Top 16 of III is more likely, and looking at it one of the youngest team that high too.
- Enjoy your ranking, it won't last next season... although if you start winning friendlies it will help!
- Good job with the GD, it certainly help having two more games where you can score and not concede any :)

-come 6th or above in II.02
-and make it to the 3rd round of aus cup

-im currently coming 3rd on the table with my grudge match against my mate matty in 2 weeks that will decide who gets 3rd place

- i made it to the 4th round very happy with my performance leading up to that round then got dominated by tong

I know I didn't say my objectives but my objectives wer e(and still are)

a) go through the rounds this season undefeated
b) get a better GD than any other team in II.04 that has been in the A-League.
c) score more goals than any other ex A-League team in II.04
d) make the semis of the Aus cup

a) Currently the undefeated thing is going well, 11W from 11matches
b) The best GD so far is +57 by the comets of S13 (I am currently on +52)
c) I am only 7 goals off the comets of S13 and 7 goals off Tribe of S10 in the most goals scored in a season.
d) FAIL!!!!
So so far my objectives are going well

I believe it's time for the auto-critic...

- League: stay in II.04 after the qualification game
maybe not just yet then, I'll come back next week for that one...
- Cup: Rd3 maybe although not fussed yet
achieved and not still not fussed!
- State Cup: top half, I should be sharper tactic wise after a few round in II so I expect I can win some games with my trainees this time!
It didnt quite happen especially when others use 1st XI... I think I'm going to scrap my B-team next season, its level is not good enough to get wins nor to learn to much valuable when I try new tactics...
- have another go at sx and maybe let Uber win one game this season :)
Courtesy to TGS immense luck last sunday, there's no room for Sx on wk15... bummer

Well comparing mine from the start of the season.

- Break my curse and get past round 5 in the cup (not too hard to ask is it :s)

Obviously it is too hard to ask as I went out in round 5 again for the 6th or 7th consecutive time. Epic fail.

- Avoid relegation from A League

This can be ticked off as I not only avoided relegation I finished 3rd.

- Get Kightley into the NZ U21 squad or as close to it as possible.

This can also be ticked off as within a few weeks Kightley was playing for the NZ U21's.

- Get ranking points to above 4000

Flirting with it. At this stage it's above but 2 heavy losses over the next 2 friendlies could spell disaster. Should be safe though.

- Beat the Frogs and attempt to beat TBF

Semi-passed. I beat both on one occasion but didn't beat the Frogs on the return leg. Round 1 next season will have to do :p.

- Score more goals than I concede in the league.

Successfully completed that task too, courtesy of Chelsea and Salgaocar.


Overall 4.5 out of 6. Not too bad, although the cup one is really irritating me ;).

Check, yet another bronze for the cabinet. Went down to SLTFATF, who's tactic this season looks kinda familiar ;P

Fail. I sold Stanke (central mid) and Rudnicki (central/attacking mid) and picked up Villafane. (attacking mid). On the other hand I did train some central mids to a point where I can play them more comfortably as defensive mids... so maybe 1/2?

Still a work in progress. Holiday got put back to start of June. I was also made redundant last Wednesday, so should have plenty of time to achieve this now.
